Okay I literally just finished watching this? What a let down! No limbs being chopped off and very little action and violence at all! Also, whats with Bill dying with some crappy five finger heart exploding trick?! He just fell to the ground, no blood, guts or anything! Im so angry! What a waste of my time, worst ending to a story EVER!

Yeah totally, a movie is only good if it has limbs being chopped off and lots of violence. My penis is so big and round. *Sexual Insecurities+++*

Well after the first one, you expect a massacre of a movie, you don't get anything at all :upset:

After the first one I was expecting a slight storyline, and that's what I got. Either way both films are overrated just because people think they are cool for liking Tarintino, if Mtv were in any way involved everyone on these forums would hate Kill Bill and claim it was nothing but unneccessary violence, faggots.

The first one was great, when It came out, It was exciting and fresh
The second one was just something to look forward to, and Im simply letting the forums know how dissapointed I was :thumb:
Don't try and be clever.....especially on MX :amaze:

Never saw the second one for the very reason I heard it was a let down. The first one was pretty entertaining though.

I liked it, though the scene with that pimp seemed pretty pointless

Kill Bill vol. 2 > Kill Bill vol. 1.

And don't you forget it.

While there is less action in Vol. 2, I don't know if I like it better than the first but certainly as much. There is a lot of story in it that is not in the first. If there wasn't, as a whole, it wouldn't be very Tarantino-esque; just violence for the sake of a return at the box office.

Reasons why volume 2 is better:
The overall addition of a storyline,
Cooler Music,
Rock salt,
People buried alive,
Pai Mei,
El and Beatrix showdown,
That Mexican pimp,
B.B.,
Exploding heart technique.

I could say what I liked more about each movie and argue which is better, but the thing to really keep in mind is that they're supposed to be taken together. That's why I think more people found Vol. 1 so easily satisfying, since it was all about the action, while Vol. 2 was more about resolving the plot. I think though the mix between the two of a retro-martial arts and spaghetti western provided an awesome contrast.

What about Napoleon Dynamite? everyone loved that movie. Anyways, i liked Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, but for each for different reasons.

Can't we just agree that based on Quentin's first three writing/directing gigs both Kill Bill films were let downs?

Two words: David Carradine. Why he missed out on an Oscar nomination for that role is beyond me.

didn't live up to pulp fiction....but then again it didnt have christopher walkin in it either, that would have helped.

word, they probably put him in the lead actor category but he should've won a best supporting statue.

kill bill 1 & 2 were 3 times better than jackie brown, slightly better than reservior dogs. it cant really hold a candle to pulp fiction though. still, the way the story unfolds in kill bill is absolutely remarkable, plus classic tarantino cinematography and screenplay. good flicks

I didn't think the second one was as good as the first film (seems to be the general trend but thats genuinely what I think). I didn't think the first one was as 'amazing' as everyone made it out to be either.

Not only were they bad in comparison to Tarantino's other films, they were bad films outright. Incredibly overrated.

i dont think they shared out the action between the two movies, the first was all action and the second was all story, it was ok though

Kill bill vol.2 still has some pretty cool fight scenes, just not near as much blood and gore has kill bill vol.1

Kill Bill 1 & 2 are my favaoate Tarintino movies,

KB 1= awesome violence, fountains of blood, decapitation, etc.
KB 2= focuses more on the storyline and but is still ****ing awesome.

They where both great. KB 2 was still pretty violent, but has nothing on 1.

Here's the thing people don't realize.

Kill Bill vol. 1 was an homage to all the Kung-Fu movies that Tarintino loved so much during his youth. The overtop violence is a huge part of that genre. Hell he even had an actor in there that was in a bunch of these types of movies (Hattori Hanzo played by Sonny Chiba).

Kill Bill vol. 2 was an homage to spaghetti westerns. They aren't known for violence but for their story lines.

Comparing the two or expecting hideous amounts of violence in volume 2 is just ridiculous. Apples and oranges people, apples and oranges.

The fact the Kill Bill saga goes on for about 5 hours or so and she kills him in 10 seconds was an anti-climax.
I've yet to see kill bill vol 1 but I saw 2 and it wasn't that great.

I think a showdown would have been highly predicatable.

Well, remember in all of those old Clint Eastwood movies. He had a lot guys to get through BEFORE the head honcho appears, and then it's the quick 10 second shootout, where the 9 seconds is devoted to exchanging close-ups and their fingers twitching waiting for high noon.

I thought The Bride plucking The Nurse's Eye was a little nauseating, even for me.

But the movie didn't matter to me since IT WAS RUINED BY YDLOAD months before I even saw it.

That scene was awesome
As for the two movies I actually enjoy them equally, the first movie to me was only good for the crazy 88 scenes and the second one had the pai mei, beatrix buried alive and the showdown parts which is just as good.

this movie sucked so bad it was unbelievable no matter how hard quentin tried the dialog was not cool, stylish or funny like his other films it just seemed very cheesy and it also tried to make you care about these characters on screen which is pretty hard seeing as in the last film they were brutally murdering everyone. imo the only people who would like this are self proclaimed "movie buffs" who feel like they are silly for not liking a quentin tarantino film but its ok hes not as good as he was 8 years ago just admit it, your'e among good people with real opinions if you do

sorry for ranting on like this but i have nothing else to do right now

I didn't understand a fücking word you said.

In any case, I liked both films. They are different, of course, If you are into gore and blood the first one is perfect, But in any case, I'd have preferred that the final fight would a big kick-arse fight, as, por example, Star wars final fights, or something like that.

But I have to say that I enjoyed both a lot, actually, but If seen as a whole package. The horribly down-spirited final chapter is actually the only flaw of the movie as a whole package, in my point of view, But that must have had a reason to be like that, I hope.
