It was pretty good. Your username sucks, though.

It's funny how many comments I get about that. It originated years ago when I joined a car audio forum. That's the moniker I came up with. As you can probably imagine, it really went over well there. :D It just kind of stuck. Memorable.

Thanks for listening to the tune BTW. :p

as far as pure music goes, probably the best recording i've heard so far on this site. could be waaaaaaay better if vocals were added, although the emmense talent on the guitars and drums keep it interesting the entire time. this is all coming from someone who rarely listens to anything remotely close to what i just heard. nice work dude.

Very tight, dude. It sounds really really good. You got skills. :thumb:

Yea thats pretty awesome. It was a bit long, but maybe i just don't have the patience. i agree with LOAfan, your riffs were real tight, timing was great as far as i could tell. The only thing was that during the second long solo part, the drum sounded kinda funny, like one of the beats was just kinda thrown in at the end. Besides that, i thought the instrumentation was great, the keyboards and the guitar work. Did you do the keyboards, drums, mixing yourself?

I listened to your stuff........ only 14 huh? Cool. Keep rockin' When I was 14, I don't think I was able to switch which strings I was playing on. :D

Not sure exactly what to make of this... Although not a style I relate to at all, impressive guitar work, for sure, however I didn't get the impression the song really went anywhere - perhaps the addition of vocals would help that. I thought the drums were a bit overboard on style and presence - it felt a bit like the drums and guitar were doing two long showy riffs next to each other rather than working together as a song. Just kinda slapped down side by side rather than as a part of each other.
I may simply be suggesting things foreign to this style, and I only took one listen (late at night), but that's my two cents. Nice work.

Very nice, I loved the intro, and the first guitar solo was nice as well. Very tight playing.

not half bad at all. how old are you? i thought it said you were 14 and i was about ready to call you a big fat liar. i like the chorale beginning and ending. pretty good work for an improvised solo. if it wasn't improvised, then i'd say different, but you got some fast fingers. reminded me a little bit of steve vai's stuff. :thumb: what's the band's name and can i get any more recordings? i think it sounds like a triumphant movie song.

also, bombshell : just shut the **** up!

A big thanks to all who have listened and offered insight. I'm 30 and have been playing guitar for around 17 years. I'm pretty new, however, to the whole songwriting, arranging thing......just trying to get better at writing stuff that I, myself, would like to hear. The "movie soundtrack" thing seems to be something I'm interested in having my music sound like. Energy, drama, maybe some weirdness thrown in...... :D The best compliment I've ever gotten after a review of WTE was that it wasn't really a song, but a piece of music. I'm very greatful and inspired. Thanks again.
