Power pop is not really my thing, but yeah this is a good effort.

My only criticism is the sappy lyrics, but these are characteristic of the genre.

Quite a generic song though, I like how you livened it up with interesting clean guitar parts, but maybe do a few more of these and liven the drums and bass up a bit and you'll be there.

Otherwise a solid song though, keep it up.
