Sure, not in his style of singing. In the new album, his singing and screaming aren't far apart. They're almost identical, actually. But in the old stuff his scream was a high shriek similar to black metal and was in no way similar to actual singing.

Yeah, I saw them on Oct. 2 (First show on the world tour :cool:) They played Are You Dead Yet? and In Your Face. It was suprising there was only two tracks the the new album.

Really? I think that song is awsome. It took me awhile though. The first time I heard it I thought it sucked, but after listining to it a few times I started to really like it.

I thought it was complete crap. It sounds industrial, a genre I strongly dislike, the vocals and lyrics are really stupid, the drop C5 chord is used about 100 times, the solo is nothing special at all, and really short.
What do you have against industrial?
If I could turn back time and change one thing, it would be to take In Your Face off of AYDY and replace it with Knuckleduster.

I don't have anything against Industrial itself, I just hate it, it's a matter of taste, I'm not badmouthing the genre. Knuckleduster is a million times more melodic and well composed than In Your Face. Everytime I listen to AYDY I skip INF. Knuckleduster I actually enjoy listening to.

We agree on some things. :) We both love the band, just for different reasons.

I still really like Knuckleduster, because the solos were exceptional. I find it to be one of their weakest songs anyway, but maybe it was because of my shock at hearing them play something completely un-power metal. The lack of soloing was IYF's biggest flaw, but the riffing was catchy as hell.

At least you agree on the solos, I love those solos. I think that In Your Face's riffs are all so bland and simple, and Knuckleduster's aren't amazing but at least it's got some harmonized leads and such.

I love my Floyd. :) I could put brand new strings on, tune it up and lock the thing, and it wouls stay perfectly in tune for months. It's crazy. Not to mention being able to wank the tremolo bar as much as I want and not affect anything.

If you're Mr. Tr00 grim fan, then no it ain't. But if you are a defenite fan of CoB, you love their music no matter what, it's a great buy. It is by no means another "Hatebreeder" or "Follow The Reaper"...the riffs have gotten a little dumbed down and have more of a hard rock edge (everything is tuned to CGCFAD), but it's still a great album in my opinion.
