Unsigned?

I was thinking...

If mx is adding user ratings, with averages? why not add the category of "unsigned" for people to write about their own bands/CDs? It really wouldn't be much work, and would be much more effective than the audio arena as it is now. Obviously the review would have to instead consist of a link to the music (PV/soundlick) and a breif description of the band and song.

Hm...

As I do not venture a lot into the Audio Arena, I don't know if this was better than the situation now. We would need special guidelines for it etc... Sounds interesting though...

It's a possibility, but a low priority at this point. Once the cd review site is fully up and running well, I'll definitely look into this.

If it were me making the decision, I'd consider making a totally seperate site for it, similar to purevolume or Soundclick.
