I'll be adding a feature where you can rate a particular album (1-5 stars) within a comment on a review. This way you don't have to write an entire review, but can have a dissenting opinion. The user album ratings will be averaged, and put at the top of the review along with the reviewer's rating.

Still be reasoned and fair when giving the ratings. Any comments/ratings we mods come across that have the character of just bashing a certain album because you dislike the style of music, or you do not like the reviewer etc will be deleted.

But as you're all reasoned in over 99% of the time, I doubt we will have a lot of work. :)

Very nice idea :). It might be useful to have a feature like rateyourmusic, I'm not sure of their specifications but they have some sort of system in place to weigh ratings so very popular albums like Green Day ,Ashlee Simpson or U2 don't get unfairly low ratings and fanboy bands like TMV and Tool don't universally get 5 stars. I'm not sure how it would be implented or to what degree, but it's something to keep in mind.

Anyways, I like this idea, even moreso when you mentioned that you would be on the lookout for fanboyish/anti-band ratings.

Good addition, but from what i've seen, you can only do this for one album at the moment. Any others seem to assume you've already rated them.

First little bug noticed though.
