Okay well I've noticed while gaming that either the laser in my mouse flips out and totally like spins my screen around.. or the cord gets tangled up by my keyboard and I can't move it fast enough without adjusting the cord..

this has cost me to lose alot.. so should I buy a wireless mouse? I heard sometimes they malfunction... I wanted to make sure they are good for gaming.

Some hardcore computer gamers will never touch a wireless mouse for that reason, but they are good enough now. Think about it, if Microsoft will use nothing but wireless for the Xbox 360 I'm sure the technology isn't lacking.

I use a wireless mouse and keyboard, and I never have any problems.

I have a wireless mouse and keyboard from Microsoft and it works great. The only downside is that they use batteries instead of recharging. But other than that I love them.

If you're going to get a wireless mouse, you may have to fork out a lot of money for a decent one. Make sure you can find one that's decent and you're not blowing your money on a piece of crap that won't work.

I use a wireless controllers for games that don't require a lot of precicsion, like racing games, but games like splinter cell and MGS, I need the wired controller because if i barely move the analog stick on the wireless, nothing happens, so i use wired controllers for precise movement type games and use wirless controllers for everything else

Wireless keyboards and mouses work just great except when the batteries start to die. You'll notice having to push the keys harder, or just no response coming from them. But, I haven't had to replace them but once in the more than a year I've had them.

Wired, their is just something about wireless that bothers me. Like the slight missing weight of the cord.

The only wireless thing I own is the Wavebirds that Nintendo makes. I tried out some wireless mice at best buy a month ago and I didn't really like them for some reason. :thumb:

i prefer wired. i don't mind the cord and it never really gets tangled up, and i can't stand when i'v just gotten into an intese part of a game or something and all the sudden the response starts to slow down and then just stops. stupid batterys.

I prefer wired. For tradition's sake.

I really don't have a reason to go wireless. I just have the stuff that came with my computer. Wireless for console gaming will be cool though.
