I think Reggie's performance in the playoffs so far merits his own thread. I am a huge Knicks fan, but I have to admit that I have always loved Reggie Miller, and he was always been my favorite player. I love watching him play, as he is probably the smartest player in the NBA, as shown by how he moves off the screens and gets away with a few elbows such as in game 3. I also love his clutch ability, even when he's scoring 8 points in 8 seconds to beat my Knicks.

So anyone else here love Reggie. It's his last season, and it would be truly incredible if he could win a championship. I think the Pacers will get past Detroit, but probably not Miami. Anyone think that Reggie can lead them far? Let's just discuss Reggie's greatness.

I don't want Reggie to retire. He's a great player. His image should be what the NBA strives for.

I was at his last regular season game.

I'm not a big Pacers fan, or basketball fan for that matter, but he is a great player and I wish he could stick around with the Pacers for a few more seasons.

Detroit beat them pretty good today.

I don't think they can make it past Miami, but I feel that they can beat Detroit, because they have already won in Detroit and are an excellent home team. If they don't win, they'll at least give them a run for their money.

As I've said before, he's one of the only players I've ever actually 'loved to hate'.

I say that about Shaq, regularly.

Like someone else in this post said, Reggie Miller's "image is what the NBA should strive for". Thank you. You took the words right out of my mouth.

My friend's favourite player is Reggie Miller, because of that Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets into a fight with him.

Wierd, that's exactly why I started liking him. A watched him beat the Knicks so many times that I just started to gain a tremendous respect for him. After the Pacers would beat the Knicks, I would also root for them.

When the Knicks started sucking around 3 years ago, I became a "Reggie maniac"
