I think you're looking for, "Great film, incredibly entertaining."
The combining of live-action and animation was superbly done here, and a great story to put it to none-the-less.

That was a pretty revolutionary movie when it came out. I saw it in the theaters and Christopher Lloyds character gave me nightmares after the part where he's running on top of the building.

Yeah, it's a good film. I heard that Bob Hoskins took the part because he thought it would be an oddball little cult film, though I don't know how true that is.
