I was wondering what a 24 hour race in the endurance hall is. Is it a race that last a whole day or what? thanks

It is a race that lasts for one whole day, non-stop. You can of course put it on pause though, and split the 24 hours up into sections.

your best bet is to star late in the evening on b-spec mode and accelerate the time 3X. Play it for about 3 hours realtime (but listen to music or watch tv or somthing). Pit in once more at about 9 hours (gametime) and leave the console on overnight. When you get up the race is 18 hours through, requiring only 2 further hours of accelerated B spec mode. At least thats how i did it. Hope that helps. :thumb:

That's an aspect of the game that I thought was just a tad too realistic..

can you tell me what it does?

The 3x thing means that the time goes three times faster on the game than in real-time.
A "24 hour" race on the game will take only eight hours. Only.. haha

I'd love to try the 24 hour race with the pedal and wheels, just to see how far in I'd get. Stopping only to go to the bathroom. But I don't have PS2, so I'll never have the chance. :(

I'd agree that b-spec is pretty lame for most of the game modes but it ceartainly is needed for people who want to do the 24 hour races. Most people have to eat, sleep and work within a period of 24 hours, not play gran turismo untill their thumbs fall off.

Or they could pause the game and do the 24 hours in sections.
Do the nurburgring one, it's worth it. You get the Forumla Race Car. :thumb:

Ahhh!
We've been trying to get a Formula Race Car for ages.
Does anyone know what car you get for finishing all the professional events?

Nothing. You get the Ford GT LM Race Car '04 for finishing the Gran Turismo World Championship in the Professional Hall, which is the last championship in the Professional Hall.

What's the difference between A-Spec and B-Spec?

What's the difference between A-Spec and B-Spec?
Driving in A-spec means you drive the car, driving in B-Spec means you give orders to the computer driving your car. So basically you can control how hard he pushes the car, tell him when to pit and when to overtake etc. But you don't actually drive the car.

A-Spec you drive. B-Spec you tell the driver what to do.
EDIT: Beaten to it.
