Has anyone ever heard of this band? If so, what are your thoughts about them.

There's a couple threads for this band already, and not many people responded. I do think they're good.

I like the band Cake, if that counts.
What do these guys sound like?

They're a post-rock band. Pretty cool.

They aren't exactly post-rock. I mostly see them as a semi-loungey jazz influenced rock band. Maybe that makes them post-rock though; I'm unsure.
Overall when I think of the Sea and Cake I mostly think of how fantastic Archer Prewitt's solo material is. If you enjoy their music, but haven't heard Archer Prewitt - definitely pick up Wilderness.

Thanks to asymm, I heard Wilderness early in the year when it was released. It's excellent. The first song on it, particularly, is amazing.

I would say so too.
