plans for the future...

hey everybody... i finish high school this year and im set on starting a diploma or advanced diploma in music performance (jazz/contemporary) on bass.

im wondering if any one else here is thinking of, or has already started, doing a degree or anything like that with music?

Id love to be a professional musician, but i dont think its gonna happen anytime soon, and in the long run im sure jewellery will make me much more money. :)

after i do my MA i might go and do a sound engineering course
not sure yet though, that would mean that after 4 years at uni i'd have to take anotehr year out (i don't want to do it part time) so i'm not too sure
