I want to know a program that will let me record onto my computer. I have a mic and everything but the only program I have to record(that I know of) is some ****ty program called "Sound Recorder". Not only is it a terrible program, but it will only let me record for 60 seconds. Can anyone tell me a program that will work better. I can download about any program on Ares(p2p).
Thanks in advance.

Cool Edit Pro 2.0. It's what I use, and it's really good. If you can find a download on that P2P thing, you'll be saving yourself about $2000 bucks.

Audacity seems to be pretty popular, just search for it in google or something.

Audacity's a pretty nice one, I find that it can get laggy when dealing with a lot of tracks though. I personally switch off between using Sonar 4 and Audacity. Note about Audacity, it's freeware so you can just get it off of http://audacity.sourceforge.net, free of charge
