Ok so I bought the M-audio mobile pre not long ago, and I try to record with it. I got a condenser mic (studio project B1), and when I plug the mic and I put the phantom power on, there's no signal.
If I go and shake the stand or the mic a little, the signal light green but don't stay... Do any of you guys knows what it could be?? its all new.

Does the light come on when you shake the XLR cable near where it connects with the mic?

If it's coming on when the cables moved then it's highly likely somethings faulty where equipment connects.
Either
1. Your cable is damaged
2. The section where the cable connects into the microphone is damaged and loose.
3. Your M-Audio unit is faulty.
I'd go back to the store you bought it from and ask them to check it out, or if you got it from the web email them or take it to any store and ask them to check it out for you. It's a rarity nowadays that you accidently get sold damaged gear, but it happens sometimes :)

You should try to find where the error is.
First, check to make sure your drivers are compatible and up to date.
Get yourself a dynamic mic (any sort will do), you might also want to get a line-level source. Check to make sure you can get a signal f/ a source that doesn't need phantom power. If you can't, this probably means that the phantom power source is bad.
If you can get a power-free source, check your XLR and USB cables. Swap out each of these seperately and see if you can record a signal.
If that doesn't work, then it's either your computer or your interface. You'll probably need to replace one or the other. You'll most likely need to replace your MobilePre if the phantom power doesn't work either.

Thank you all, that sucks if something is damaged...
edit : oh and I remarked that if I hit the drums, the light comes on also but just for the time that I hit the drum. If I hit the bassdrum very hard, the ligth will come on longer will stay like 1.5 second...
