Does KRISTAL have a compressor?

My experience with Kristal is very limited.
But as far as i know, no it does not.
Someone like Xaphan would probaly be able to confirm.

If it were me, I would Compress during the recording phase using external processors. Or, if needs be, using a compression feature from within an audio editing prgram such as Cool Edit.

I found a program called endorphin and it works with it. It is also free.

Kristal works with any VST effect plugin.

Some good ones for compressors are

Sweetboy's Volcano111 (for a simple maximizer)
Kjaerhus Audio's Classic Compressor
Slim Slow Slider's C3 Multiband Compressor

I use all of these for different things when I mix/edit.
