PSP release in the UK set back to September 1st

Originally it was supposed to be out in April, then June and now it's gone all the way to September! I have such a mind to just order one off Videogamesplus.ca for £150

Anyway, what are everyone else's thoughts about this?

My thought at the moment is I definitely would have waited for a PSP if i'd have known they weren't gonna bring any more games out for the DS until 6 months after the launch.

I'm not bothered about handhelds anymore, i know i have a DS, and thats great for travelling, etc... but i don't really play on it much in my house when i have a home console to play on.

For that reason i won't get a PSP, because i would reather play on a t.v, and a PSP's a bit expensive for only playing when your on the move.

Apparently they didn't make enough units for the release, which is a major set back in my eyes. The DS has such a huge headstart now, although to be honest I haven't seen that many new games which look good for it yet.

Actaully, recently i have considered geting one, but decided that one handheld will do, and i don't have enough money, and would rather save up for the xbox 360.
