Zoom PS-02 Problems

right, i obviously own a Zoom PS-02. it's not too great but it's ok for what i need at the moment. the problem is that every once in a while the replacement media flash card i uses wont read on the unit itself and all it says is 'Card Error'. this happens at very random intervals, the first time was about 3 months after i got it, then about 2 weeks and since then it took just over a year to do it again
obviously i loose all info i have saved on the card, be it recordings presets or what have u. i do try to back up all my stuff on a regular basis but sometimes i don't do it immediately and loose a lot of stuff
i was just wondering if anyone knows of other PS-02s experiencing this problem or do u think it might just be the card?

there's a distinct possibility it might be the card. to make it worthwhile, buy yourself a nice big card so that even if that wasn't the problem, you're still better off than you were.

probably the card or you have been so careless that you have damaged something inside the zoom.


... wait, you don't have to be careless to damage a zoom. You just have to be humanitarian, right?

sorry to dig the thread up but i've been at my girlfriends

i just spoke to someone at uni who happens to have a PS-02 as well and apparantly he has the same problem as me!!!
looks like Zoom strikes again!
