Improving one's voice

Hey guys and gals

umm....i'm in a band and everyone's decided they want me to do the singing. anyway, anyone got any tips on voice improvement? preferabley ones that don't involve paying for a voice trainer at this stage, becasue i have no job :smash:

why don't you start with slow songs you know work on your soft voice for a week or so then move on with your power voice for a week or so and if your not singing the way you like just go back down to soft voice for a week or so and power voice w/e okay keep going in this spiral till your singing to your bands expectations if you sing like adam sandler convince someone else to sing
