Okay I have my td-6 electronic kit running to a patchbay with separate L and R TS jacks. Both channels are then sent to my mixer, after taking a feed for the drum speakers.
This has worked fine for ages, but this morning I found that when listening from the mixer, something very weird was going on. Whatever is panned centre and is therefore present on both channels was weird - for example the snare was empty and shoopy. This leads me to believe that someho the two channels are being subtracted from one another. I could get my mic100 out and invert the phase of one of them, but what is the rational explanation for what is going on and how can I fix it without dedicated the mic100 to a humble job like that!
