I'm not sure if he's talking about the same problem I have with my 505II or not, but I have a serious issue where my output chord has to be adjusted and angled just right to get any sound.

i hear good things about it, and i think the idea behind it is a very sound one.

however, its unsuitable for direct recording, and a mdeller like the POD XT might be worth a look.

or, for that much, you could start going rack- somehting like a behringer virtualizer and behringer midi floorboard could have you set.

well, multi-fx are never that serious but my old guitarist had the me-50, its reliable and sounds good for starting out.

they can be. look at the TC G major rack unit.

that is serious.

Is this a possible battery issue?

If not, disregard. I'm also starting to get a problem with my 606 where it's just not putting anything out whatsoever. It's getting rather frustrating.

open it up, and look with intrest at the gooey flesh equivalent of multi FX. Next, look for any disconnected leads, obviously fried components, and mice. moisture, and dust/sand could also theoretically cause problems.

if you don't see anything, put it back together anyway. you'd be surprised how often this works, inexplicably.

if that fails, smash it up onstage in a semi-original fashion. it'll break easier than a guitar.

hmmm, interesting concept, the idea of a family of mice living in my zoom 606 - that may be the one thing it's any good for.

It's only an intermittant problem, and considering I only ever use the pedal for mucking around at home, an insignificant one.

what does S&L need liberating from?

Nightvision

morons and one-post-wonders.

and wannabe-emos.

I'm what a lot of people would probably call semi-emo, and I'm bloody sick of all the slit-my-wrists-cause-my-girlfriend-of-2-weeks-left-me-for-my-dad type songs.

S&L has fewer regs than JS does, and twice as many gimps.

those sorts of posters - they've had a stranglehold on the place for months.

Edit: did I just miss a joke there? I missed a lot of sleep last night...

when politics requested liberation, it meant it wanted to be moved from a pit subforum.

yeah, I know. I simply want S&L to be purged of idiots, but thought "purge S&L" was a bit nazi-sounding... :)
