Hey, I'm new to this part of the forum but I'll try my best here. Well, my friend is looking for a keyboard that is completely programable and so able to create own sounds. But, neither of us have any ideas about the tech words used, it'll be second hand but does anyone have any keyboards/synthesizers to look out for? It'll be used to create Nine Inch Nails/Ministry/Industrial type sounds.

Cheers in advance.

Are you looking to play loops and phrases or create your own loops?

To create my own loops.

You more than likely will want something with sampling options. Thats $$, you could get a small midi controller like a M-Audio and connect it to an Akai MPC and use it to play your loops.

Sorry I'm a metal head so I cant really provide many other suggestions.
