i think if they made a movie, it would be good, as long as its nothing like the new episodes, but as said before it would be very hard for them to make a half hour show become a 2 hour show with all that random humor

I remember reading an article at IGN maybe... a year ago? Well, a long time ago at least. From what I remember, it said that the cast of the Simpsons had signed on for 3 full length movies, and the first one should be expected in 2006

Apparently (I don't know how entirely true this is) they planned to make a Simpsons movie a while back. They wanted to use the plot where Bart and Lisa go to Kamp Krusty for the summer (you know, where they sing in the choir, make wallets, eat gruel, "one of the campers was eaten by a bear"). The idea obviously flopped, and it turned out to be one of the shortest Simpsons episodes ever.

Personally, I think the new Simpsons is better. It's more witty and creative than the old episodes, and that's a good thing. Even though Family Guy is better.

As long as they got the old crew from about 10 years ago on it and stopped rehashing old jokes that said crew came up with, then yes it could work. Other than that, may the man who makes it die a fiery horrible death.

I think the old and new stuff is good, neither that I like more. And I think Family Guy is great but not as good as The Simpsons.

Family Guy, I'll say, is better. But there's not much of anything that can take away from the nostalgia, the sentiment of The Simpsons. I'd like to see a movie, as I said, but I think it'll be awhile. I mean, it takes like a year to put together a half hour animation. Imagine a movie.

After seeing the episode where marge and homer become alcoholics while i was high I realized it is going downhill. They just throw in the most random joke that don't make any sensse.

I'm pretty sure if they amde a movie it owuld be good though.

They've ran out of material for making single episodes so I can't see them having enough good stuff for a movie.
