Madden got any tips for fantasy draft

Fantasy draft is fun

You really can only go for 1 side, offense of defense, it's hard (for me at least) to get a good mix of both, I usually go for offense and on 05' I'd get, Vick, 2 good recievers, an offensive line, running back and a TE (Tony G. and Jeremy Shockey can wait until like 13 round or somthing)

If you go for defense I usually get the safeties, then linebackers then corners, just depends on what you like more

In football video games, offense is always more important than defense, because there really isnt much defense in the games.

I just did a fantasy draft in Madden 03, and my first pick was Orlando Pace. Next I got Tony Gonzalez, and then Barret Robbins I think. Then I got Warrick Dunn, Steve McNair (ick), Derrick Mason, and Hines Ward. I'm pretty sure there was a defensive player or two mixed in there somewhere.

I only had 3 really good players on defense. Takeo Spikes, Jamal Williams, and a strong safety that I dont know, but he was good.

I always based my team on defense and built it around rookies.

But I always picked a good QB first, then a good HB or WR, then CB's, LB's, and safeties. I'd then trade some young talent I picked up for some other positions.

This was on NFL 2K5 where age does matter. I'm not sure if it does on Madden or not.

I usually go QB, WR, CB/Lineman, K, then whoever's good.

Take a RB in the first round.

Age does matter in Madden.

Also, if theres an injury rating, make sure your guy wont get hurt alot.
