I just started getting into Botch but from what I heard, that's there best. And it sounds very similar to new Norma Jean.

3. Bayonetwork - Generic radio happy song. Chorus sounds like a nu-metal guy having an orgasm
4. Dilemmachine - Outro of this song is pretty tight
5. Coffinspire - I get bored of this one easily
6. Liarsenic - One of my favorite songs on the album.
7. Disconnecktie - Every Norma Jean song over 10 minutes is an epic.
8. Absentimental - Not a good followup too disconnecktie.
9. Charactarantula - My favorite song on the album.
10. Pretendeavor - Pretty good.
11. Scientifiction - Yawn.

I usually listen to the first 3 songs straight and skip around.

That's a pretty cool rating. I totally agree about 'Bayonetwork." I love the intro but the chorus is so nu-metal it hurts. I liked the epic outro to 'Scientifiction" and I love that breakdown thing in "Charactarantula" where the bass and guitar slide up. I thought "Disconnecktie" was cool also but the songs before and after it are a big blur to me. I like the intro of "Dillemachine" with that high chord thing going. I noticed that Track 2 on Bless The Martyr.., "Face : Face" and Track 2 on O' God... are actually structured the same. High pitched lead with a fast moving, hard-hitting riff underneath. I loved 'Face : Face" and that's probably why I love "Vertebraille."

Haha, I'm in a similar situation. My band are playing at a party a week on Friday, and the worrying thing is, this isn't like parties I've played before. Normally they're little house party jobbies where I know everyone, so the pressure's not too high. But at this one, a few hundred people will be there. Gulp.

We're mostly doing covers, I think, as we are the opening act, and not much will be expected of us. We're gonna do a cover of 'New Happy Birthday Song' by NOFX and dedicate it to Andy (the guy whose birthday party it is). He has a good sense of humour so hopefully it'll go down well.

Oh my God, Sin City is amazing! When it first starts off, you are kinda wondering what the hell is going on. But about halfway through, it all connects up gradually and it's just so much better. I loved the way it was filmed too, the dialogue is so corny at some parts
