If you like the gameplay in KOTOR, most definitely check out Jade Empire. The only thing hard to swallow about that game is the storyline, but even IGN gave that game a 9.9. I think that may be the highest rating tying some of the GTA games.

The game was hardly that good, although not bad at all either.

The game was cool for the first three chapters, but then the game became uber linear. The second to last chapter when you have to defend the palace is really cool though.

The big plot twist in the game was obvious to an extent.

The battle system was somewhat lame, considering there were only two attack buttons. (It's redeeming though that there are so many different styles though. Even if some styles [Legendary Strike] are clearly inferior to others [Thousand Cuts]).

The Good/Evil system was an obvious rip off of KOTOR. Even more shameless that it's made by the same frickin' company. I guys the Good/Evil thing is their thing.

I had fun with it though, and the demo of the new Conkurs Bad Fur Day was really cool. (it was on the Jade Empire disc that I got)

I'll explain the pay scale to you.

It goes by levels, depending on how much merchandise you've sold. Theres a 0-1000 level, where you make 10% of how much you've sold. 1000-3000 level, where it goes to 15%. 3000-6000 level, up to 20%. 6000-10000 level, up to 25%. And last, 10000+ level, where you make 30% of what you've sold.

30% of 10,000 is 3,000. Thats not including taxes and such though.

*smiles* What you don't realize yet is how hard it is to sell $10000 worth of merchandise. If you manage to sell that much I would be very very impressed. For example, the grocery store I work at is fairly large...and sells $30000 worth of groceries per week. Also be aware that you'll probably saturate your market unless you're traveling all over the place.

It's not hard if you know how to sell, but usually companies don't teach you how to run a business when they hire you to do that sort of job. It's only hard to sell merch because you're going to be selling to say, 30000 people, give or take. Now, you can only sell these people knives once, so once you make the sale you've lost them as a potential customer. Not everyone is going to buy either, so unless you're changing who you're selling to by traveling, it's going to be hard to sell because every sale you make kills the demand a little bit more.

Well now you've got me doubting it. Might be a good thing too. I ran a google search about the company, and it seems they've had some problems with employees, saying how hard it is to sell the products. Hmm.

Dammit Vince. It took him this long to find a job and now you have him doubting the one he has.

Ya, I dont know. I was all happy about my first job, and you killed it, but oh well....thanks :(
Oh no, I think you can do fine at it, you just need to make sure you sell your product strategically and be sure you don't sell only in your city and then be sad when a few months down the line you run out of customers. Besides, at worst, it'll last you the summer and you can be making money whilst looking for a more steady job for during the year. It's actually not a bad scenario.

Hi, you guys.

Well, today I checked out my new house and got the keys. For the first time in my life, I am currently legal paying tenant in 2 properties. How good is that - I could have 2 centre parties, or have 2 ladies in 2 seperate beds, or have my choice of where I want to sleep when I come home from town drunk, or many other possibilities.

Best of all, my new room is 2nd floor, and has a great stoner window (just about beanbag height). I can barely wait...

Jimmy Eat World was pretty good. Me and my mate were on the train, these two girls go on at another stop and they pretty much followed us everywhere once we were in Nottingham. It was scary, we walked to the show together, hung out in line together and went into the gig together. Then JEW came on, everyone went crazy and we split up :(

Oh, and these was this drunk guy who congradulated me for wearing a TBS shirt. Then he ran down the street full-speed and hit the back of a car and did a flip. It was frigging awesome.

Apartment (The support band) were decent actually. They were like The Killers but without the keyboardist and with a singer more resemblent to Adam Lazarra. I enjoyed them to be honest. JEW were so energetic, and they played lots of songs from Bleed American and Clairty even though the tour was for Futures. The encore was "Goodbye Denver Harbor", "Pain" and "Sweetness", and it just went mental. Hundreds of people just chanting "Woah!" during that song was amazing.

After the gig however was a bit of a letdown. My friend's parents were picking us up, and being the responisble people they are, they had a few drinks at the pub. So we get to them, and his mum had a shitfit about him buying a shirt because "he doesn't have the money". This coming from the same mum who just bought him a car! And then the bitch had the nerve to go off on one at me, acting as if she was my mum! I so wanted to just tell her to shove it and get a lift home with someone else (I saw someone else I knew at the gig as well, which was cool).

Then I got 6 hours sleep, and went to school for 2 lessons which barely did anything. And now I am here talking about it on MX

Not really. It will involve us buying tickets to a different movie and then walking into Land of the Dead. They never check.

Same here.

Hey Mike, why are you grounded?
For having a fricken myspace. My parents flipped out about it. And some of the stuff on it.

Dawn Of The Dead was a horrible movie... except for it was funny.

I hate zombie movies. They just about always suck.

I hate Zombie movies.

I'm seriously easy as **** to scare. I had nightmares after I watched Scary Movie 1.

Not that there are Zombies in SM1, I hate all scary movies.

Watch the original Dawn of the Dead or Return of the Living Dead. Dawn is extremely cheezy, and Return is more of a comedy. Both are pretty good movies.

The new one. It had a few funny parts, like the gun and the propane tank part when they are trying to escape, but overall I would say thumbs down.

It's not even that they're scary. They're just plain retarded.

I think the old one was slightly better. Cheezier x a million, but still better.

And as for the new one, I was laughing my *** off when the old guy cut the chick in half with the chainsaw.

 Addicted to KOTOR. Maybe I should check it out... being the Star Wars fan I am. I think its Star Wars at least. Knights Of The Old Republic right? Yeah, thats what I thought. I haven't even seen Revenge Of The Sith. Am I the only one?

I haven't seen any Star Wars movies. :-X

KOTOR is an awesome game. I'm playing it tons now, and I talk about it with my friends constantly. Don't listen to Jon. It's a good game and the storyline isn't boring.

Oh shush. I haven't played in a long time.

That chick with the big blue wangs coming out of her head is stupid. What a useless character.

Mission? I love her. She's got a high security skill and she can unlock just about any door/chest. But she does bitch about her brother a lot, which gets on my nerves.

My favorite character is probably HK-47. He's hilarious. And I have flamethrowers equipped on his arms.

The meatbag robot is cool, I admit.

What happens if you restore his memory? My skill was never good enough.

(He was the only character in the game that interested me)

Well, figure it out :(

Another good point of the game was undressing the only white women (meaning not Mission and not the Jedi you can call or recruit) in the game. She was ugly, but it was cool.

Star Wars, Terminator Series, The Goonies...

Those are like movies every kid/adult has seen...
