Hmmm, sounds a bit like my wrist injury actually. I landed on my left arm with the hand bent back, so one of the metacarpals popped out of place. My mother, being the hardy Yorkshire woman she is, insisted that it was just a sprain, and didn't let me see a doctor for 4 weeks. When we then discovered that the bone had set in a different position.

Depends on the length of the knife. If the blade is less than 3 inches in length and too dull to pierce the front of the skull which is about 1/4 inch thick, you won't die. A rupture to the frontal lobe won't cause death, just a probable coma and immense pain. However, if the knife meets the above criteria, it'll be quick and painless.

Getting stabbed between the shoulders though, no matter how you look at it, is slow and agonizing.

Speaking of which, I was at an amusement park a couple weeks ago and one of the rides was a log flume ride. There was a platform nearby where you could watch the logs go down the flume, and there was a coin slot there where if you put in a quarter, you can blast the boat with a steam of water as it's going back into the loading area.

So I have like a ten dollar roll of quarters with me, so I'm just hanging out there blasting boats. Most boats take it ok but man some people get pissed. Eesh. The best one, though, was this boat full of like 4 to 5 year old girls, and when they saw me standing there on the platform they start saying stuff like, "PLEASE DON'T SQUIRT US" in the most pathetic voices you could imagine. And I just start laughing, I wasn't even trying to. I just stand there and laugh at them and then I blast them with the water, it was awesome.

Today went to the open day at manchester met univeristy, seems good, ill proberly go there hopefully. It was a graphics trip we went there on, so we went to manchester art gallery, we came to the concusion the old art is "technicaly fuking brillient, but fuking boring" so we looked at some mordern art, which is cool. At the uni, there was an exibition piece which was a cd player, with headphones playing random sounds. We went to the Ubris this, which is actully a museum, but if your ever in manchester and someone asks you to go to the urbis, there gonna go sit on the grass next to it all day *yawn* inside was a punk exibition, my graphics teacher told me to have a good look because he wants me to do my essay on punk art. It was interesting, there was a video wall of the very first videos of bands playing, we watched the sex pistols, penetrations, the jam, the buzzcocks, the fall, blondie, and the clash, it was fun. Then in the shop, there so many tee-shirts and shirts i want that are old school punk, so im going back one day to get some, and do notes and stuff on my essay.

Thats a great list, apart from greenday at the top. Its undoubtedly a great pop-punk anthum, but not vest punk song ever, maybe pop-punk, but i dunno.

Yeah man that was on The Lock Up which is meant to be our weekly dose of punk on the radio, but since they moved it back (it used to be on something like 1-3am, now it's 9-11pm so primetime) they have started playing a lot of emo and mainstream stuff. Bad bad bad.

In my (incredibly humble) opinion, Capdown, AFI, At The Drive In, Nirvana, Prodigy, and Jimmy Eat World shouldn't have been in there at all. Bands like Sex Pistols, if they had to be in there, should have had less songs, or at least better songs. The songs they put in by Clash and Ramones and stuff, were the really overplayed overrated songs, which is stupid. When I heard that Green Day - American Idiot was at number 8, I nearly fell off my chair laughing.

I was listening to it with a bunch of punk friends at the time, and I've never heard "cunt" said so many times in a couple of hours, it was just wrong. A few of them emailed Mike Davies (presenter of the show) about it and he sent emails back saying "Tell me about it. It was voted for on the website. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the list...". He stopped Prodigy playing at number 4 and said "I can't do it" and played The Exploited instead, and yet he let Nirvana play :confused: Dude seriously Prodigy is a ton more punk than Nirvana.

Also, he played Minor Threat and Black Flag at the start of the show and said "These didn't get into the top 30" and we were all like "Oh god, what have they voted for...". My friend Alex was actually one of the "punk experts" they asked to help compile the short list that people voted on on the website, but he nominated Snuff a lot and they weren't even in there :lol:

Last night he redeemed himself a little, by playing UK Subs, Crass, Discharge, GBH, and Conflict all in a row. Then he finished with Dead Kennedys - California Uber Alles, apparently it didn't get into the top 30 because of vote-rigging or something (we all said at the time that if Holiday In Cambodia was in there, then why the hell wasn't California Uber Alles. Such a cool song.

They also played Howards Alias and one of the new NOFX songs last night so I was happy :cool:

Feasable option, In the graphics design buisness, preferably withing music, desigin punk, pop-punk etc albums covers, posters, tee shirt designs, etc etc. Most of my graphics work so fr has been punk based, i hope that helps.
