Yellowcard are a good pop band, it's just that they suck live. Besides, MTV award shows are all the same anyway. You get a innuendo joke at every presentation, in every break and every performance. The people who deserve the awards don't win (Well, like 1 or 2 to keep everyone else happy)

I would love to be invited to an MTV award show, and I'd just spend it all day in the Pit as if I was one of the other kids who went there. Then I'd shout "Yo, Delonge! You'll probably want to double check no matter what. But if you already have a permit to use the space then it probably is fine.
If it's not city owned... then you don't need a permit at all. Just as long as you have permission from whoever does own it.. for you to be there.

Pfft. Here in America at least, by the time a boy/girl is 16 years old they're legally allowed to consent to sex with someone over the age of 18, but for some reason if it's discovered that they had sex, the adult is charged with statutory rape.
