Tom Delonge does use some funky chords. I would say he's probably a better guitarist than Billie Joe, but hes still nothing special. And I'm not even entirely sure he actually is better. That doesnt mean he's a better musician than BJ though.

Tom Delonge has some decent riffs. I would choose him over Billie Joe in guitar. But I would say they are pretty much equal.

On bass, TOYPAJ was amazingly easy. For hardest, id say either cheshire cat because of the speed or s/t because of more technical songs like always or the verse part to feeling this.

But none of their stuff is really hard at all.

I think for musicianship Chesire Cat is the hardest to play. This is because songs like Toast and Bananas, Carousel, M+Ms show the best of Tom's ability. Also, Mark plays better bass here.

Dude Ranch IMO has better songs. The recording quality of Chesire Cat is better than Dude Ranch. Dude Ranch has too much bass, which is good to me, but recording wise isn't that good.

And the drummer is amazing! I wish I could drum like that. In Josie it is a lot harder to here the singer. But, working with one mic can be very hard to do.

I can play M&M's and Wasting Time at full speed, and I'm not that great at guitar. But I understand what you're saying. Yes he used to show his talent a little bit more. Thats why I've always said I think he's a much better guitarist than people give him credit for, but he just never shows it.

Maybe he will actually show it on this album. I'm expecting another Boxcar-like album....slower and maybe a bit quieter than normal Blink stuff. Maybe a few acoustic songs, full chords instead of power chords.

its not bad.........sounds like it could be a really good song but the strumming of the higher guitar is on and off alot.....the whole song sounds a bit sloppy and it soudns like theres a couple of tempo problems. the singgin wis good in the first verse but he cant go high enough for the chorus (or at least thats what it sounds like) so i suggest if he can go higher then do so, or singing lower.

i like the guitar part just the sturmming just sounds off and the distortion going in the chorus is a little to heavy imo

good job tho......i think with work this could be a good song with some work! :thumb:

That version of Voyeur was good, and yeah it sounds like it belongs on Buddah.

As for Tom's solo project...I really don't care anymore. It'd be great if they made another record together, but it seems to me that their best days have passed with Dude Ranch and Enema. That's when blink was truly blink. Not that their more recent stuff isn't good, it's just different. Tom and Mark are really good musicians and song writers and I look forward to whatever they end up doing in the future.
