I dont know. I think it was probably a mutual thing, but I guess I could see why some people might think Tom had a big part in it. It did seem a little like Blink was becoming "his" band, what with him writing and singing a lot of the new album. But I dont think its necessarily his fault.

Dude this is sad. How are you going to take "Reckless Abandon", change the riffs a little bit and slightly modify the melody, change the lyrics, and call it your own? This dude even sounds like he's trying to be Tom! I respect most musicians like me because I know how hard it is trying to create your own music but come on! Blink is my favorite band and probably always will be, hell, if it wasn't for them I probably would have never touched a guitar. But, every song I have made with my band sounds original, in fact a good portion of it doesn't sound anything like blink. And if something does it's probably because we actually covered a song and said so!

And I like how the intro on that "Another Sad Story" sounds exactly like the intro for "Shut Up". I can't say that "Second Song" reminds me of any particular song, but it does sound like blink.

Sometimes they play almost flawlessly live, but a lot of times they don't. I've seen them do both, but I know that CD is studio enhanced to some degree to at least get the levels right and all of that good stuff.

Blink went down the tubes with the newest album for me. I liked their immature stuff; the emo-ish stuff just wasn't what they're good at.

I've gone to see them twice. The first time was 2002 with Green Day in Irvine, CA and they weren't that good. I was actually kind of disappointed. The second time was last year's tour in Chula Vista, CA and they rocked the best I've ever heard them live. I actually saw them one other time before that in like 97, but I kind of just tagged along to the concert, so I didn't really pay that much attention. At the time I knew who they were, but wasn't really into music at all. I do have to say that my interest started to increase after that day.

I've never got to see Blink live. They wouldn't come to PEI or most likely even Halifax, so I'm basicly screwed to see a blink concert unless I wanted to go to Montreal or something. i really think i relised why i really like blink over other bands disagree or watver besides they write awsome songs and all it's because they have 2 singers. Like you listen to a New found Glory album or Offspring or watver you get so sick of the singers voice but with blink it sorta awsome how there two singers cause the song feel fresh and new. and they sing different parts like feeling this which keeps the song better cause you dont get sick of a certain voice. billy joel good singer and all but after listening to him for like a 40 min record your just sick of his voice while blink 182 keep it fresh and i dunno im whining on but i guess someone might understand my point........ :thumb:
