you could just combine those 21 songs onto 1 disc?
he wanted to seperate them to get a different feel, like he explained. so he could have awsum starts and ends

I like it how he figured it out like that. I would get it if it was arranged like that, instead of all their singles and stuff arranged chronologically.

Well basicly it worked like this.
I wanted to have really good kick off and ending tunes..I figured out which songs would work best and in the end though that maybe making two CD's would be better.
The more CD's=The more Kick Offs=Stronger album
Also I figured that like myself somedays you just don't feel like listening to certain stages of Blink. So I though if I made 2 CD's you could decide..
Disc 1=Oldest/Older Blink
Disc 2=Newer/Newest Blink
Get the idea now? :thumb:
EDIT: So just got home and I found TOYPAJ in my van :D I'm just finished uploading it onto my computer and I'm givin' it a listen.

I must agree. I'm most likely getting/gotten it though. Tomorrows my B-day so I my parents may have gotten it for me, if not tomorrow night I'm going out and using my B-day money to buy EOTS (I've heard it so much I didn't feel like buying it before) and also the Greatist Hits. Then I'll own all the Blink albums except for Buddha and the stuff before that.
So, this thread has been dead all day..It's pathetic :(

First of all, I'm not a Nazi.
Second of all, piss off, this is the Blink thread not the Blink Community And Discussion Thread. There's no need to turn it into that, as we already have a discussion thread in this forum. If you guys wanna be a community in here, thats fine, but don't go off topic, make sure your post has some sort of Blink relevance. If you'd all just go into the discussion thread then you could be a community in there and also get to talk to others too.

This GH CD deffinatly isn't the best..but I do like the way they designed the cd. The cover is pretty sweet with the Black and Silver. I also like how on the back and inside the booklet they used multiple different fonts. It really gives you that feel like each song is totally different, yet same.
So, I spose that rant confirms I truly am Darth Vader? :p

It's really pathetic when all you people can talk about in here is other bands and junk like that. I've spammed this thing up before (Memories of when Star Wars:Episode III was released and we went insane come back to me...) but it's gotta stop. If we can't talk about Blink or Blink related projects in here...then close this, otherwise it's a thread full of nothing but spam. Another Girl Another Planet is the only new release on the Greatist Hits DVD, Not Now was released on the UK S/T Album only so it's been unheard by some, I've heard it off of the Atticus III CD though.

For me I'd have to say Whats My Age Again/Dancing With Myself did it for me. I love the way Blink covered that song, they took a terrible (in my opinion) tune and turned it into an awesome song.

Squiers are pretty decent starter guitars. I've had the one I started on for almost five years now and it still works. They don't sound really amazing or anything, but they get the job done as far as learning goes until you move on to an actual Fender or something else.

I want that. But, $450 (plus $200 to buy a decent amp) is not in my possesion at the moment. And I still need to get a USB and synthesiser. I doubt I get a Jazz Bass until I'm like 30, but I'll get around to it.

Squiers are pretty decent starter guitars. I've had the one I started on for almost five years now and it still works. They don't sound really amazing or anything, but they get the job done as far as learning goes until you move on to an actual Fender or something else.
my squire broke within the first 3 months of owing it and id idnt even play that much so it was kept well.........good thing fender doesnt care about guitars that are under 200 bcusk so they completly jsut refunded it even tho it was jsut some simple wire malfuntions.......and squires arent the best cheap guitars, the ebst cheap guiatrs are like some over seas les paul copys, some of them are amzing like mine.
teh squire i haev tahst doesnt work im thinkg of turning into a delonge strats if uhave enough money after investing ins ome new pups for my everyday guitar and a new amp

Squires can sound good..
Proof - Billie Joe played one on the American Idiot tour, he came over to us and his guitar said "squire" i was like "wtf" then he gave that away and i was like "ohhhh" but it sounded damn good for a squier.
well think of how much moeny grenday has his halfstacks are prob like worth more than 3 grand......anythign would sond good through that plus he could modify it as well

You guys should check out the bass that Mark donated to Unit the United. Its awsome.
I think its like a white fender, jumbo medium fretboard, black custom pickguard, signitured by mark himself. It says it was played by him, but you'd have to see if it was worn.

Yeah, i'm just saying that if a guitar is bright pink then it's bound to be that colour to attract attention. So people who don't know anything about guitars will say "oooh pink!" and immediately like it.
I know Mark Hoppus has one, but he was in a band that was known for it's humour, not being oh-so serious, so he could get away with it.

It all depends on your personality, if a 11 year old boy hears a song called 'Blow Job' or hears 'Family Reunion' they are going to find it really amusing, Blink does appeal to young people quite alot because of the humour. But then again it also appeals to some older people, cos they like the music and the humour and stuff (tends to be people that act younger), but some older people just think that Blink are a bunch of immature twats, it depends on what you think of their style. One thing I think we can all be sure of is- no parents are really that fond of Blink.

I go through stages, depends how I'm feeling at the time, but usually i prefer blink, just 'cause it's more upbeat, and fun.
Yay, first ever post. Three cheers for me! :D

Same for me. It depends on the mood I'm in, but it's Blink overall. I think maybe if Boxcar had more than one album you wouldn't get sick of them so easily. Not that I get sick of them very often.

Boxcar Racer was just a side project to prove to Mark that blink could go into a more heavier darker kind of sound and still be succesful. I see no return since Tom is working on AAA. I can't wait to see how the new side project(s) do.

Small article in Kerrang Magazine.
INTO THE AIRWAVES
TOM DELONGE is getting ready to launch his new much-anticipated new band Angels and Airwaves. Althought DeLonge and his bandmates are still working on their debut album, which isn't expected to be released until April, an exclusive song will be made available through iTunes on December 20th. "We're going to release a six-and-a-half minute song, a trailer for the movie and possibly a video, as well," DeLonge tells Kerrang!. "It will all be available through iTunes. The Song is called 'Valkerie Missile' and it's kind of a flagship track for the band. Choosing a song was hard for a day or two, because it will be the first thing people will hear, but we all came back to this one. It's really exciting and I can't wait for people to hear it."
The bands official website - http://www.angelsandairwaves.com - will also launch on the same day and fans will be able to get hold of limited-edition T-shirts and see exclusive artwork on there.
Not sure how this happened, but till now I had dismissed Dude Ranch, as when I listened to it oh so many years ago it didn't sound like TOYPAJ so I just assumed it sucked.
Suddenly it popped up on SonicStage just now and I didn't recognise it. I think its awesome :D So I checked the track names, and lo and behold... Dude Ranch!
z0mfg
Side Note: On a side note (this side note to be exact), the exact same thing happened with Green Day's Nimrod the other day. It doesn't sound like Dookie (although I did like Hitchin' a ride; who doesn't?!)
Side Note 2: This could never happen with The Offspring's Conspiracy of One.
