I decided to take up piano. I've always wanted to but never got around to it. Im stressed out atm with guitar, so it should be a nice break. I think it will suite me well too because very soon I'll be taking singing lessons as well. And with the piano, its the best way to develop a strong ear and apply theory.
No way in hell could I afford a piano, so Im looking for a keyboard that can replicate a good pianoish tone. Its suited for classical and old rock & roll, so effects are not neccassary, but tremelo and reverb (dont know if kbs have reverb) wouldn't hurt. I can spend 500, but could save up ( I work) if its worth it. If its mounted like a piano, thats a big plus. I want real keys, not those ****ty plastic ones you find on midi keyboards. Other than that I dont really know much about piano and what to look for in terms of tone / quality. The only brand I have checked out was Yahama, heh.
