The cd is called "Introducing The Eleventh House Featuring Larry Coryell", but it's listed on Amazon as being by "The Eleventh House". So I think its the latter, and they just decided to put the guitarist's name in the title.

Golf = Not a Sport

You're retarded. Golf, from a talent/skill standpoint, is one of the hardest sports out there.

Football for me was simple, because I had a simple job: make initial contact and drive the person across from you off the line of scrimmage and on his ***, and on defense, free your hands and find the ball. I didn't have to worry about finding a hole as a back or covering some speedy receiver, I was there to make contact, not pussyfoot around, heh.

I played both ways (because our football team was rather small), wide reciever and strong safety. Strong safety is the best position in football because on run plays you come up and do run support, and on pass plays you play centerfield and then lay out the guy who gets the ball. Fun fun stuff.

I never punched back. I refused to become like those troglodytes.

Yes, defending yourself is for idiots.

used to love baseball. I was rooting for the Marlins when the won the World Series in 97. Then the jerkoff sold all the best players and I stopped liking them.

Oh my god, I was rooting against the Marlins so hard in that series. It's such an embarrassment that a damn mercenary team beat out the Indians. The 1997 World Series, in my eyes, never happened. And I take it you live near Miami?

Quick change of topic to the blatantly sexual: if a hint of a thong or some other skimpy underwear is present, is that a turn-on or a turn-off for you guys? Because I don't like it if it's clear the girl is being a slut, but if one of these girls is using it for their subtle sexual attractiveness in addition to practical use, and they genuinely don't seem to see that it's showing a little...man, thongs come right after boobs on the superficial attractiveness scale. IMO of course.

I love thongs...my gf doesn't wear them very often (if at all) but I always think it's hot. No idea why, though.

I asked her why she doesn't wear them, and she said "The only guy I need to impress on a consistent basis is you, and I can wear anything and turn you on". It's the truth

He has 1,037 hits through four and a half seasons; by the end of this season he will probably have around 230 hits, putting him at about 1,157 through five. Another five years he'll be 37 and will be about halfway there. He has no real injury history so he could pull a Rickey Henderson and play til he's about 45 and then get it there.

Any hockey fans here? I'm glad an agreement is being reached.

SO happy, I love the Sabres.

I didn't know there was a Bewitched film coming out. I hope they haven't screwed it up. Who else is in it?

You know they are making a honeymooners movie too right? only it is screwed up bad because they made the entire cast black. Not that there is anything wrong with black people by any means, but it means that it will be filled with "black people do this, white people do this" humor, and that is the total opposite of the type of humor that was found in the original show to begin with, which was timeless and race played absolutely no point what so ever. Besides, i saw the trailer for it on quicktime.com and they are all talking ghetto speach instead of normal english. Lame

Well, most Americans are ashamed of fanny packs, so I doubt anyone really talks about them all that much anymore.

An irish friend of mine wore one the other day because he didnt have any pockets in his shorts. We all got a nice laugh out of that one.

I found most of the characters fairly boring and annoying.

Agreed, and the plot stupid, and the jokes not funny at all. Overall it is up there with "Dude, Where's my car?" for worst comedy ever written.

You've got the opposite of my deal. My parents both teach Tae Kwon Do and they really want me to love it as much as they do. I used to like it; then I found guitar. They don't take no for an answer. It sucks. When I play the athletics I enjoy, they yell at me and say that my knee is going to start acting up again or whatever. Martial arts? Forget it.

Ive taken many martial arts in my time, and tae kwon do is so lame and americanized. It is hands down the most boring martial art i have taken, although perhaps one of the most useful in a street fight.

Still, give me jujitsu or ninjitsu any day. Even the other korean counterpart to Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do is much better.

I started out in Tae Kwan Do, but moved on to Shaolin Kung-Fu.

I'm trying to find a way to study Ninjutsu and San Soo.

At least in new jersey there are no Ninjitsu schools, but ninjitsu clubs they call them. Not in actual dojos but they meet in parks a few days a week and train there, i was in one for a couple months but i didnt have free time to keep up with it anymore due to finals coming up. Search google, there is probably something near you.

What was interesteing is you can only get into a certain rank from these clubs or even dojos if they do have them, and once you want to progress further you have to find a ninjitsu master and train under him, and there are something like only 5 in the world, and all live in japan.

Football is great. I love playing at the park with my friends. I'm always QB. :thumb: It's the only sport I can really play, I think. I suck at Soccer, though I love watching it; especially Brasil. Baseball I've never tried to play in my life; only catch.

**** Brazil. It is all about the Frankfurt Eintracht, but due to that being a bit more difficult to find in the US, you can still watch the occasional Arsenal game. (big middle finger here to any man u. fans that are on these boards :p)

I love love it when a little thong is showing, but when they are just begging for attention it turns me way off. And when they are fat.

Ugh the Fat Thong is the thing nightmares are made of

I noticed that girls in Europe wear thongs a lot more then here in the USA.

Ive noticed the exact opposite, but then again i come from new jersey, which is not representative of the entire US population, and is full of little whores. i.e. it is not uncommon in new jersey to go to a movie theater on a friday night to see 12 year old girls (yes 12) hanging out there with thongs hanging out of the back of their pants.

You mean Homer Simpson.

It's a little bit of both actually. I've been dragging these last couple of weeks because I'm so god damn burnt out.

I can understand that completely. I worked cooking at this restaurant for 3 years, due to management changes about halfway through there were many many problems occuring, and eventually the one manager who remained during the duration couldnt keep it up anymore, and he couldnt hold onto a staff very well. The staff he could hold onto, which included me, a few friends of mine, and 2 of the girls, he started overworking because we had so much experience under our belts and the rest of the staff had been there a month max, and was probably going to quit within a week (we got real busy during the summers, and 17 year old kids usually arent willing to put in hard work during the summer). It came to the point where I was on the schedule not only for cook, but for every other position short of manager: baker, dishwasher, prep cook, butcher, bus, counter, and expo. I was up to about 60 hours a week, money was great, so i wasnt really complaining. Although the combination of the summer heat and being at the restaurant more than my own house started to catch up with me, and i became burnt out relatively quickly.

I felt that it really wasnt the managers fault or anything, he was doing the best he could with the staff he had, and during the summer months it is tough. However i realized his total incompetance and worthlessness one day and quit. What happened was this girl who had been working there a year less than i had been, who was already making the same wages as me (which i wasn thappy about, but then again during the school year i was unable to work at all due to my university being a good hour away, and she was going to community college, so i let that slide) asked for a raise, and he gave it to her no questions asked, she was now making 50 cents more an hour than me, and she only knew how to do one position: counter. So i go in and ask for a raise due to all the extreme hardwork I had been putting in, and he tells me "you havnt done a thing to prove to me you diserve a raise, now get back to work".

That was the end of that.

Have you ever actually been to Disney World? It is ****ing awesome. I went this year and like 3 days before we went a 4 year old died on one of the rides, the ride was still open, but there was only a 5 minute wait.

I really haven't gotten into rugby all that much because it's way too physical...I mean, with soccer (and American football, since it's compared to rugby so often) you can see flashes of style and skill and grace, but I haven't seen that with most rugby matches.

I used to get Season Passes to the 6 Flags around here, and go on cloudy Tuesdays. Long lines avoided. and The season pass was only about 50$, so after two visits it already paid for itself.

Usually the lines are too long or the park is just too crowded and annoying to warrant going to them though. Disney World is fun when you're little, but I don't think it would have much appeal to me now.

Take that statement in whatever context you will.

well that's a good MJ joke at least
it is overdone, if he really isn't a phedeophile which I don't think he is and never did, it's a little unfair, we should go back to mocking his plastic surgery instead

I just got up a half-hour ago. The fact that I slept 12 hours today has led me to one inescapable conclusion: you guys were right, and I need to seriously contemplate quitting my job.

Miscellaneous expenses such as the occassional meal, tissues, soap, deodorant, my inner circle's occoassional movie outings, and materials for my projects. That last one only came up last semester. Funding for the school has been slashed by the state due to the economy and the administration's policies to the point where the tuition has been raised by about 10% and the school can't afford to supply students with the majority of the supplies they need for our various projects.

It actually hits harder than you'd think.

Hello Trevor.

Why do people keep saying my name and I have no idea who the hell they are?

Name change, perhaps?

EDIT: Oh, hey, Ryan. How's Europe or whatever?

I'm so getting my name changed to something you wouldn't expect, just to spite y'all.
