What, just to see the Pats win their third in a row while the Steelers don't even make the playoffs?
Why wouldn't the Steelers make it to the playoffs? They had the best record in the NFL last year, with a rookie QB no less. Roethlisberger will have his fingers filled to the nails with Super Bowl rings long after the Brady Bunch is "cancelled" from the playoffs.
See? I can make obtuse sports analogies too. Although I'm only a fan when the Steelers are winning, doesn't mean I can't try my hand at macho sports posturing.

The Ravens got scary-good in the offseason and the Steelers cut Big Ben's best bud Plaxico and replaced him with Cedrick Wilson (a guy the freaking Niners didn't even want), and they didn't do much to fix their secondary.

Nah, it was an even split as I recall, but the season was playe dwith many qbs, and Plummer wasn't the qb in the first Colts game. He had just come back from his injury to play the playoffs. Exceptional because there was no main qb all year, they switched every few games.

I have a blast of a shower, cleaen my teeth etc and get downstairs at about 8:25. My school takes me about 30 minutes to walk to, and i can't be late today as i will :
A : Look really dumb.
B : Teachers will get angry.
C : They will think i don't care about later education.
So, my Nan says 'Ill give you a lift to school Joe.' Thats cool, i relax abit, but no. My Dad (this is exactly what he said) 'No, you won't give him a lift to school, i want him to learn his lesson.' That is such a sadist thing to do! Stopping me from going to school! So i run out the door and down the road calling him a dick, then make my way to school. I appear about 20 minutes late, and they refused to let me in!
The thing that makes it worse is that im always doing favours for my Dad (babysitting when i wanna go out so he can, looking after my brothers for a weekend, taking my little brother to the cinema and stuff), and this is how he repays me. Im going to kill him, i swear.

Up until the age of 16 (or year 11, when you take your compulsry exams, your GCSE's), you need to go to school. After that, you can take your A Levels if you want, or go get a job/do nothing. After that, you can go to Uni.

Ah, I see.
I see it is similar to the idea here. When you hit age 16 or hit junior year first (grade 11), you can then legally drop out of school and do what ever with your life, or continue on with high school. Before those times, which ever comes first, you have to stay in school.

that seems a good explanation anyway, I am currently in 6th form, you do 3 or four subjects, for example, I do English literature, French, Drama and Law.
at the end of the first year exams, A/S level, half of the full A level, you can drop one subject for next year.

So uhh, how about where is everyone from? Also, say one thing you like about your area, and one thing you dislike. :D
Mabton, Washington: I like it because of my seclusion. It's nice to be out here in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to look at but endless hills of sage brush. The major thing I dislike about it is the fact that it is so small and boring. Nothing good every comes through here as far as musical acts, and there really isn't much else to explore than the C&D Mart that sells bongs. :p
I am from a town in New Jersey called Toms River
What is nice about it: we have everything, a mall, a movie theater, 5 minutes from the beach, a state park, as well as some of the best pizza places ever due to them being run by former brooklyn resident italians.
What blows about it: being 5 mintues from the beach means traffic during the summer is utter insanity, and the tourists we get are a bit less than savory.

I got the perception for book 5 that Harry is a total emo kid.
Oh really? If that series was based in Australia, the fifth book would have been called "Harry Potter rips Voldermort's head off and shits down his throat."
And, if the movie had been cast with Samuel L. Jackson as Dumbledore, it would have been renamed, "Harry Potter: Shut The **** up." (GG Brian from 8 Bit Theater).

I have this idea to have a sci fi kind of trilogy
with this guy called Duke Starstalker
And he battles this evil dark king
Who is trying to take over the world
except it turns out that this king is his uncle
And then once it has gained cult status
I'll make a series of ****ty prequels
and wipe my arse with the money I still make
I think I'll call it... Star Battle

Then when she is outside the store she pulls her hat down and it is one of those things criminals where on there face (can't remember the name) and this rock music starts in the background. She drives into a pyramid of Irn-Bru cans and they fall into the basket at the front of her wheelchair. The last thing you see is her driving up to a police barrier with all these police with guns and they are all shouting 'freeze!'

With the exception of Schindler's List, those other movies were great because they were carried on the backs of fantastic actors. Schindler's List had a great story and great acting. But I don't really see the artistic direction from Spielberg.

Well it is not like actual individual needles, its more like a pen, the needle moves in and out really fast and it doesnt hurt a whole lot, only when it gets close to the backs joints like elbows and knees.

This is probably my favorite quote from the episode though:
Alan Partridge: 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".
Aidan Walsh: I really hate to do this to you, Alan, but it's actually a song about...
