I had to have oral surgery like 5 years ago to remove my wisdom teeth before they even began to come in or else they would have forced my back molars out of my mouth. It isn't fun, I was eating nothing but jello pudding for about 2 weeks. It took me a good 2 months until I could eat normally again, but then again I had an extreme case, most people will not have that issue.
Apparently as soon as i woke up from the surgery I tried to say to my mom "I dont understand why they said I couldnt drive, i feel fine", but my mouth was full of gauze so it was incoherant, and then i fell out of the chair trying to get up.
Good times.

I just got my wisdom teeth out a few days ago and it sucks. My jaw hurts and I've been doing the same as you. Eating a lot of jello pudding packs and I'm starving. Can't wait til I can actually chew again.

I haven't had my wisdom teeth removed yet, and I don't know if that's shocking or not. I have heard mixed things... some said that it was a completely painless procedure save for the day after, and some said that the whole ordeal is just a huge bitch. The numbers are actually pretty even, so it's not like I can expect one over the other.
So, I guess I'll find out on my own when the time comes.

I had my front tooth crowned last year...
That was fun...
The dentist drilled at my tooth for an hour....without saying a word...
I'm hoping this tooth comes through OK, though it probably looks like surgery :( My other wisdom teeth knocked my teeth all out of place, so I kinda need braces again. But The orthodontist says i need about 3 braces at one time for 18-24 months, which i really cannot be doing, I've already had them for 24months...:(

He cursed out Trilemma for trolling this thread.
EDIT: AH- you're not a hyprocrite. :) And for the record Trilemma is also the one that journeyed here and began trolling us after his thread was closed by Bartender, probably because we were complaining about him, and he's been reappearing ever since likely because he wants to keep those who were complaining off guard. Or what he said, "Because he likes it here."
Personally, as with most problems, he'd be easier to ignore if he wasn't present but at this point I just want to keep that whole situation that occured in Politics out. And if that incident is one of the reasons Trilemma is here now, than that's a problem that I'm going to continue to bring up. Trilemma is free to do whatever he wishes and more, but I don't have to like it if he keeps coming in with a smirk.

Well, me, Illmatic and zerokewl were/are diametrically opposed on most political issues, which is fine, as it is what Politics is for. What we found offensive were certain comments he made that toed the line between something that was a harmful stereotype and something that could be construed as a valid political stance. Not to mention his reason for making the thread and the way the thread itself was constructed, in which zero was conducting a "scientific experiment" on how mainstream rap is a corruptive influence by examining the lyrical content of songs in the Billboard Top 100 rap songs. The songs were subjectively chosen and the judgements zero drew from them were subjective, and he was proving nothing. It was just a really bad thread that did nothing except encourage rap flaming and then, when me and Illmatic began posting, degenerated into yet another instance of a huge argument between stubborn zero and stubborn "us."
When the argument began to wind down and zero started to repeat points he had already made is when he said the offensive comments, and also when he displayed his maddening tendency to disregard any point we brought up so that he could just continue pressing his own pre-formed case. Not to mention his minute selection of various points to attack to the exclusion of most our cases. In my opinion, it wasn't the appropriate behavior of a politics mod, especially when it was likely spurred by some thread about Lil Kim going to jail in the normal Pit. Having found no success there he seemed to want to slam his case home in his home forum of Politics.
And then like a bitch he deleted the thread after Bartender closed it, probably because we had been threatening to complain in Site, and now we can't cite any of the pages for his conduct. Big surprise there.
The opinion I can deal with. I just think the way he behaves and makes threads does not befit a mod of Politics.

I am pretty sure that applies to you and not Cain.
You make a thread that is completely subjective to your likings, and to prove a point we already know. Then proceed to spew out the same arguement with only one example over and over when getting hit from both sides with legit arguements. You then tamper with a users avatar that has something against you to "I  men", nice use of your modding powers there.
Then the thread proceeds to get closed, then you delete it like a little kid trying to destroy traces of him looking up porn on the internet before his mom gets home.
You then go into another forum to troll the users involved in the arguement because you know you were on the losing end. Then we tell you to just leave and get over it, then you ban me for telling you what I think of your modding. Nice use of powers there, can't take any personal criticism with out flexing your muscles. If I remember correctly, Dfelon was under fire far worse then you and he did not ban a single person for their beliefs about his modding. Which also not to mention trolling is against the rules.
You also create a thread to boost your ego in the pit and whore out rep to gain some popularity if any thing really went down about you and your modship. Nice use of powers yet again, real respectable mod.

Cain is the respectable one here that is not acting like a high school kid with a hurt ego.

What happened was that my brother was going on a class trip to Spain. One night, he was feeling worn out from all the walking aorund and sight-seeing throughout the day, so he opted to stay in the hotel and read. His book of choice was one of the core books for the RPG Werewolf: the Apocalypse. For those of you who don't know, it's a game with dice like D&D set in modern times and you play as werewolves.
Anyway, my brother's friend went to go to the hotel bar since the legal drinking age in Spain is 16. A few hours later, the poor bastard staggers back into the room unable to see straight and smelling like a distillery. He staggers over to his bed next to my brother's and snatches the book out of his hands.
The guy then flips through the book, looking blearily at the illustrations and commenting on them like he were reading a newspaper. Then, he comes across a picture of two werewolves fighting skinheads. He sees the swastika and says, dead serious mind you, "Now... there were no wolves in World War I, because they were all extinct... But they came back in World War II to fight the Nazis." He used the tone of a college professor lecturing students... if that professor were Peter O'Toole.
The sum'bitch didn't remember any of that the next morning until my brother reminded him of it. Anytime we want to shut him up, we just mention the wolves of World War II.

 That's great. It probably sucks that he can't remember it though; for him. Now you have something against him.

A girl. My whole girl situation collapsed a few days ago... I decided that we weren't really seeing enough of each other atall, due to distance problems, and until i had a car, it wasn't going to work.
She rung me every day saying how hard it was to stay true to me. I was like, 'thanks?'
Cain : The thread was closed. This is ridiculous. If he doesn't get punished, i am really considering leaving the site forever.
The thread was closed by S4L, and he says the issue is being discussed. I bet he'll just get a talking-to, I doubt he'll actually be demodded. DFelon came under worse fire and he's still in place. But at least we said our piece and made something happen. :)

Pretty bad. I've been contemplating calling my friend , but I just can't seem to do it. Last night I got a call from my best friend, and she said that our friend had OD'd. And this time it wasn't an accident. So, I got really worried (naturally) stayed up late, drank some wine, listened to some music and crashed. This morning, I felt pretty shitty.

I thought you just spotted the thread title.
It just kind of annoys me. I spent over an hour typing up that thread's first post and trying to put as much info into it as possible, trying to keep it alive, and the majority of R&Mers are more concerned with talking about the most inane **** imaginable than learning about one of the most tragically underrated bands of all time.

Ray (Illmatic): Streetsmart black cop, main character
Madey (madeyadams): Cop who goes undercover as a hooker and carries a .38 in an ankle holster
Jake (Dr. Jake Destructo): Loveable loser cop
Jelle (Superpeer): Police captian
Chris (ArrestThisMan): Funny cop
Lucas (Cain): Smart/logical cop who everyone agrees with
Bartender: Police commissioner, talks to Jelle on the phone, but never really makes appearances
Jayson (BoboDaRagingHobo): Local arms dealer and vigilante
Alex (Steerpike): Bart's attorney
Aaron (magicbus): Generic cop that everyone likes
DM (Pete): Irish cop
Joe (88_fingers_joe): cop fresh from Britian who has no idea how to work in a gritty American city
Leah (Taste_My_Scythe): Office secretary
CemetaryGates and Trilemma: main bad guys.
This will be a hit show. Ray is thinking of recording a theme song in the near future. We will come up names ASAP.. if you have any ideas, post those too.

Trilemma should be a police captain who's a dick to everyone on the force and who does his best to not investigate the crimes that don't pique his interest or advance his own position.

You just didn't strike me as being a cop. You're pretty cynical and have a dark sense of humor, so a smartass attorney would work.
Trilemma should be a police captain who's a dick to everyone on the force and who does his best to not investigate the crimes that don't pique his interest or advance his own position.
He could be the former captain who betrayed someone on the force and got kicked off, so now he spends the rest of his life trying to get back at the force. Or something.

On a light note, who enjoys musicals here? I like Les Miserables the best.
Ever see Cannibal! the musical? That is some high quality **** right there. Trey Parker and Matt Stone made it in college
And you guys are all wrong, the best south park episode is by far Scott Tenorman Must Die. I mean come on, cartman buys some kids pubes because he is an idiot, then spends the entire episode trying to get his money back. When he cant do that he kills Scott's parents, puts them in chili, feeds them to him, then has radiohead come (who is Tenormans favorite band) and call him a crybaby when he is in tears after finding out he just ate his parents. Then to top it all off cartman starts licking the tears off the table and says "yes, let me taste your tears of infathomable sadness".
Nothing beats that, NOTHING.
Definately. I hate it how when anything is wrong with the US, American Conservatives always find some way to put the blame on Clinton. I'm not saying he was flawless, I'm just saying that he did a lot of good things for the country. Things that we realize more now, that Bush has torn it apart.
That isnt entirely true, if you want to discuss this further we can take it to IM (both my AIM and MSN are in my profile here) because the last thing i want is to turn this thread into a hardcore political debate, and since im probably one of the very few conservatives here, it would be suicide for me to try and go against the whole thread. I will however say that this particular statement is completely biased with quite a few facts ignored.
Yeah, but you can't say he didn't help this country.
Yes i can, and will. Clinton did not help this country. He was just a smooth talker and charismatic which gave people a higher opinion of him. I am willing to bet that if G.W. was able to talk like clinton did and had clintons personality, even if everything he did in office was the exact same as he has done thus far, the American people would have a much higher opinion of him.
Also, because Roy Halladay went down with an injury, Matt Clement is going to the All Star Game in his place. That's five Red Sox on the AL All Star Team

 I haven't seen that one in a while.
My favourrite would have to be the 'Ladder to Heaven' Episode
That means "Deep Purple are war"????
I know, it's a joke, inspired by various death and black metal bands claiming they were war in German, because it sounds evil. :)
As for the Phantom Of The Opera talk, I have both the musical and the movie soundtracks on my comp. :D

Hey Riva, sorry if you've already explained. But what happened to last week's Monday Night Mayhem?
