I really annoyed I'm in a punk band (they claim we will play some metal but it we won't ,this guy what ever he says must happen he claims metal but it will all be punk and metalcore I know it) at school and I really want to play metal and stuff like Opeth but this band hasn't even had a jam yet cause all my frineds are so lazy. THey are like no were not playing metal like that or very little. It annoyes me living in this town. I want to find some serious musicans to play with but everyone is too lazy and don't tell them I said this, not very good. Man I wish I could jam with some people espically when I hear how easy it is for some people on this forum. I live in Aus, mabye if I went and visted Heavy Riva..............

Right, this is just insane. My little brother needs to get a signature to acces the internet at school (he is 11), and they provided an 'infomation' booklet with it. It states that the most dangerous materials on the internet for children are pr0n, racist and FACIST material. How is facist propoganda dangerous to small children?

That's just insane. No mention of violence or sexism, or anything like that atall.

Stoic

I disagree, facist and racist marerial could be a bad influence. I'm not sure why a kid would like to visit such sites though. And yes it's silly not to mention violence and sexism.

EDIT

Oh man, I saw you post on YSI thread about Offspring. I used to listen to them back in 1999 and these particular songs used to be my favourite...

It more or less comes down to the fact that I went ****ing ADHD for like two months just to try something new. That was like five years ago. Good times.

Also, the fact that I have to take the pills with food is a real pisser, because it's always when I'm not eating that I remember to take them, so I have to drink from a week old coke can or something like that because I don't feel like opening a new can or food or whatever.

My parents tried to put me in counseling a few months ago because they thought I had tourettes, due to the fact that I consistently said rude comments to girls. They always started it though. I just didn't talk about the counseling and they forgot.

I haven't been to a psychiatrist since February. SO yay. I want to see him again soon to see if he can decrease my dosage.

Nope. At least I've never heard anything about it.
I just have to go because I've had depression in the past, and my parents think it might be resurfacing. That was only discovered because I have a feeling my mom went through my notebook  I've always had the anxiety part. Unforunately, I have to make an appointment, and it's basically for an evaluation which probably will result in medication. I'm so pissed off. I don't want to be a pill popper.

I used to have to go to a psychiatrist due to the fact that I have OCD. I no longer have to go because in my case the disorder starts to wear off or at least weaken as I get older and my brain starts to produce more seritonin (to correct chemical imbalance).

That's great that it's better as you get older. I think I have a little bit of that. I don't think I have the disorder, but I definately have really weird quirks that could be labeled as OC.

Anyways, I am off to the funeral home, and tomorrow is the funeral service in the morning.

After the funeral, I will then be travelling to the wedding, about a five-hour ride. I'll be there until Monday. It's just odd how it's a Sunday wedding, but then again, it's a holiday weekend here.

I'm not looking forward to both the funeral and the wedding/reception.

But, I hope you all have great weekends. To my American compadres, happy Independence Day/July 4th. If you light fireworks, make sure you don't keep them in your hand or anything. Not good times there.

I'll be back Monday, but by the time I get back, I have to close at the restaurant. Hopefully we won't be busy because of the holiday.

Besides, I take it I won't be missing much around here.

Anyway, take care, and have a good weekend. (If anyone says something about how this is a goodbye post, he/she can go to Hell.)

I have respect to all kinds of genres. The reason that I don't listen to country or rap, is that they aren't really my thing. I don't make fun of them or anything, it's just not something I particularly enjoy. I do think that there is talent in them. The closest thing to country I listen to is Lynyrd Skynyrd. The reason I don't like and listen to pop, is that I feel that most of the time, there is no talent involved. Most of the time the vocals suck (and are edited to perfect quality. I mean, have you ever heard that Simpson chick live? *gag*), the instrumental parts aren't impressive at all, mostly just chords. I see nothing special about the genre. But that's just my opinion. I also know that little girls are buying the albums of those sluts that "sing" and I don't think it's a good idea.

 Me and Jom are social outcast brothers!

Anyways, I am off to the funeral home, and tomorrow is the funeral service in the morning.
Argh :( Funerals are awful

After the funeral, I will then be travelling to the wedding, about a five-hour ride. I'll be there until Monday. It's just odd how it's a Sunday wedding, but then again, it's a holiday weekend here.

I'm not looking forward to both the funeral and the wedding/reception.
I'm sure you can find something good about the wedding reception. Bridesmaids perhaps?

But, I hope you all have great weekends. To my American compadres, happy Independence Day/July 4th. If you light fireworks, make sure you don't keep them in your hand or anything. Not good times there.

I'll be back Monday, but by the time I get back, I have to close at the restaurant. Hopefully we won't be busy because of the holiday.

Besides, I take it I won't be missing much around here.

Anyway, take care, and have a good weekend.
Well, I hope you have as nice a weekend as possible.
And that's a nice website. ;)

Vince- Yeah, I've tried both, and they're both a blast. I mostly slallom because it's fun just to see how sideways I can get.

Lunch- I got it on my fourth try. I thought it would be more like snowboarding, but it's totally different. In snowboarding, you actually have to learn how to keep an edge, but with the wakeboard, due to the fins, you really can't ever wash it around like you can on a snowboard.

Really didn't like it. I mean, the special effects were top notch, but I can't think of anything else that was worth mentioning that was positive; terrible dialogue, sub-par acting, no build up, and if there was a climax, it was way too late.

Also, how does nearly all of the tri-state area surrounding New York get destroyed [hell, the whole Eastern seaboard], yet an old residential neighborhood in Boston stay well standing? The ending is the worst I've seen in a while.

And the movie is very, very loosely based on the book.

This isn't even comparable to Sin City and Batman Begins.
