Well, I don't read short stories. I'm into novels. Thus denoting, I'm not a huge fan of things with small plots. It was interesting for the short period of time that it took to read it, but I didn't think it said much.

Well, the NCAA is asking 30 colleges why they have Native American names/logos/mascots...it's bullcrap. I can see why the Indians logo or the Redskins name needs to be change, but why change the Utah Utes or the Illinois Fighting Illini? The stats are named after those tribes for God's sake!
This blows...we'll probably be the "Illinois Golden Hawks" or the "Illinois Bulldogs" or something stupid and generic. It's like when the Washington Bullets had to change their name to the Wizards.

****. If you'll be willing to wait until later today, I'll burn it to a CD (assuming iTunes will even let me do that) and then reimport it into iTunes. I should be able to change it then, since the file gets rewritten into AIFF format when burned to CD.

Well, as an English minor I'm wired to think in terms of genres. Truth be told, subgenres really only exist for nerds like me.
For example, you'd think Horror would be a decent moniker. No need to get further than that right? Wrong, not for us nerds. Not only do we have subgenres, we have sub-sub-genres. Horror begets Gothic Horror, which begets Horror Gothic, Terror Gothic, Female Gothic, and Neo-Gothic.

Hey, when's the last time we did a RMOTM? I think it's about time for a new one.

Agr33d. Vince needs to stop being lazy, or else Jom needs to take more time out of his MX life to take up the slack. :)

make me put my hair in a ( :( ) ponytail all the time. Then I moved out here and I can not care about my appearance anymore  .

What day is it?
I've got tons of metal guys, and a few metal girls in my town. My beautiful girlfriend is a big fan of classic rock, grunge and some metal bands. So I guess I am rather lucky.
My gal loves Nightwish. She's also a classicaly trained singer, whose voice is a little higher than Tarja's but still suited to the kind of music. We joke about being in a Nightwish cover band together.
Unfortunately, my right hand isn't strong enough to play a lot of Emppu's riffs. :upset: But I'm working on that.

Ah, buggers!
Yeah, my parents were very bitchy about my appearance, because they wanted to control everything about me, but they figured they'd just make me shave every day and make me put my hair in a ( :( ) ponytail all the time. Then I moved out here and I can not care about my appearance anymore  .
A ponytail!
I love my nappy hair. Dreads, cornrows, afros...ahhh. Niggas know what to do with their hair :)

The only people into metal (other than nu-metal/metalcore) are my group of friends. And it's just me and my closest friend who like black/death.

Black people have always been far more hip and stylish than whites. No wonder we steal every pop culture fad under the sun from them. And fear them. ;)

Hey, don't hate the playa, hate the REFS.
I imagine myself with a fro. With all the hair I have, that would be the most hardcore white boy 'fro ever. I would smuggle Mexican immigrants with my fro.

The truth runs deeper than most people realize.
Everyone, larsagi is back, and posting in the Ask The Mods thread in Site.
I had hair to my shoulders, but I cut it a few weeks ago back to chin level, and now I endure taunts from Chris (cjborton) regularly.

NAZI U-BOAT CAPTAIN: ALAAAAAAAAARM!
And to the last point, why should Chris be laughing? Doesn't he have an Army buzz cut?
Or is it just because you look bad with chin-length hair? ;)
