Can't be bothered to go back and find the post I'm replying to again, so; Spiritual Beggars are excellent (what I've heard of them, anyway).
I saw another episode of Bobobo at a friend's house, finally (they're being released for some reason). Soo confusing.
Also, Napoleon Dynamite, for the most part, sucks. And that's without having had people quoting bits of it at me for months, too (no one I know has even heard of it, as far as I know).

Me either dude, its roasting, even in jolly old England.
People take Napolean Dynamite too serious. It was suppoused to be a stupid movie with no plot, but people over analyze it.
IMO of course.
On a completely unrelated note, I ate Mongolian Barbecue tonight.

I'm none too fond of Napoleon Dynamite myself...the humor never really clicked with me.
Nothing wrong with that, I just get annoyed when people over analyze the movie. You know what I mean?

I was unaware that it was even possible to overanalyze it.

Funny, quotable movies with no plot are generally amongst my favourites - I consider Withnail and I (don't worry if you don't know what it is) to be my favourite film, for example - so I wasn't approaching it expecting serious plot, or indeed any plot (I even described it, briefly, to my sister as a film about nothing).
It was just a bad film, though. The only bit I actually laughed at throughout the whole thing was his brother backing over the tupperware bowl (though, to be fair, I laughed rather a lot at that). What the hell have people been quoting over there in America to drive so many of you to such hatred of the film? I didn't come away from it with a single quotable line.
"Idiot!"
"Your mom goes to college"
"Get your own tots!"

This God
Sleeps through tragedy
And awakes
To redirect the focus
He awakes to rain down fire
Onto the followers and the servants
And the slaves of the Beast
And he brands them
And his own are sealed
So that he may know
Who has followed Him
And who has not
Famine feeds his children’s needs
Pestilence keeps his children clean
War keeps his children safe
Death lets his children live
When the Seals break in chapter 6
Out come the Apocalypse
Red, White, Pale and Black
To tear us from our Earth
The Conqueror bent on conquest rides forth
He wears the Stephanos as a crown to show his deeds
The Butcher follows, to take peace from the earth
And to leave bodies in the meads
The third carried scales in hand, cried
“Do not waste the oil and wine!”
The pale is the last to come
Hades is his companion
Souls under the altar
Erupt for the fifth seal
The souls of those who had been slain
Thanks to the word of God and the witness they maintained
When the 6th of 6 opened up
Volcanoes roared and the mountains shook
Judgment was cast down to find
Those that hid from him and Christ
Great multitudes in white
12 by 12 by 1000
The martyrs stand in ranks
Behind God’s gates

It's pretty sad that Caddyshack is the only one that has survived in pop culture (even though I guess the pool scene from Fast Times is pretty famous), as all three of those movies are hi-larious.

It wasn't that surrealist. It reminded me of the Star Trek episode where Data plays poker with Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and Stephen Hawking.
I liked it. The dialogue was strong, and the setting was appropriate. I liked Vincent the best: you seemed to know what you wanted to do with him more than the other characters. Razor sounded least developed to me.

The real reason is that A) I have minimal tolerance for people I think I am smarter than (and in a retail store/grocery store, that would be just about everyone in the store) and B) I can't force myself into doing menial work (which is just about everything in a retail store/grocery store)
