I just got an external hard drive to put all my music on. When I want to remove it, I go to the taskbar and select "Safely Remove Hardware." I follow the steps, but I get a message that says "This device cannot be stopped, please try again later."

So, can I just shut down my computer, and then unplug it? Or how can I safely remove the hardware without that stupid message popping up?

I have sonic stage for my minidisk and it sucks balls...
the software is confusingly designed, it saves things as .omg
files rather than wma, although you can convert .wma to .omg you couldn't send a .omg file to someone who doesn't have sonicstage for example

That reminds me: last night I had a crazy dream that made no sense but i thought of the absolute coolest band name in it. Then when I woke up I forgot it :(

Nobody wants to give their band a good name anymore because they think it will be "cheesy" to have a good name like in the 80s. Well cheesy is far better than being cliched.

We aren't exactly cranking out powermetal, though so "80's type" "cool" band names are out for us. We're more thrash oriented than anything but all the bible books are taken for names :lol:
