This was written in a particularly boring english class quite a while back. The first line of the chorus was penned originally by Zane Aire, guitarist in our little group "Brand Pepper".
The sky is grass green,
The grass is sky blue,
The frost rain is rising,
So what the hell's new?
Chorus
Butterflies in a turbine,
Get crushed into glue,
Butterflies on a trainline,
Meet the same fate too.
The day has the moon,
The night has the sun,
What happens at noon?
It can't be much fun.
Stuff that will happen,
Happens anyway,
Few people care,
What you have to say.
