Dilemma

I have $70 and I want to buy a game. I'm debating wheather to get God of War because i rented it and the game is just pure genious, or Doom 3 for Xbox because I played it on computer at a friends house. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'd say God of War. My new issue of PSM came with a demo, and it was the most fun I've had playing a video game in a long time. I haven't played Doom 3 though, so I shouldn't be saying anything.

Both got kickass reviews.
I'd go with whatever genre I'd want more, action-adventure/hack n' slash or FPS.
Personally I'm burnt out on FPSs, so I'd go with God of War.
I'm actually getting that for my birthday (April 15th) along with SC:CT and possibly a PSP.
There are a lot of kickass games coming out right now, so there's going to be a lot of decision-making for everyone.

God of War. Doom 3 isn't as nice on X-Box as it is on the PC.
