id have to say when obi wan(i think it was him) uses his jedi powers and says "these are not the droids you are looking for." also handy for your own use, just change "droids" to whatever you have someone else wants. of coarse they have to be of equal or geekier status than you to understand.

Apart from all the space battles, and particularly the Death Star bit in IV, five of the best moments were:

5. On IV, the bad-dudes staying "Stand by" twice, followed by their Death Star exploding. (The explosion was better before they made the Special Edition.)

4. Yoda and the Degoba System parts on V. In particular, the bit where Luke fights "Darth Vader" in that cave, and where Yoda lifts the X-wing out of the lake.

3. Obi-Wan Kenobe allowing Darth Vader to strike him down so he would become more powerful than Darth could possibly imagine. In fact, anything about Obi-Wan - he's just cool.

2. The lightsaber battle in VI with Luke and Darth. In particular, this: Vader: "... sister. So, you have a twin sister. Obi-wan was wise to hide him from me, but now his failure is complete. If you don't turn to the dark side, perhaps she will," and then Luke's reaction and the following lightsaber battle.

1. The lightsaber battle on Cloud City in V, Luke losing his hand, and ultimately, this:
Luke: He told me enough. He told me you killed him.
Vader: No. I am your father.
Luke: That's not true. That's impossible!
Vader: Search your feelings, you know this to be true.
Luke: (tears) Noooooooo, noooo!
Then Luke's defiant "I'll never join you" and falling off that thing he was on.

1. When Luke finds out Vader is his his father. I can only imagine the hysteria that ran through the streets when people saw that for the first time.
2. The trench run on the first Death Star.
3. When Luke takes off Anakin's mask at the end of ROTJ.
4. The Emperor - Luke - Darth Vader battle.
5. The Yoda fight scene.

I feel like such a Star Wars nerd now, and it feels good. :cool:

dude, yoda's little fight scene where he hops around in circles and looks like a insane little bug, is most like likely the most overrated scene in the history of starwars...it was kickass when you saw it the first time, but after that it became something like napolean dynamite. where if someone talks about it at all in your presence, youll rip their ever-nerding face off!
