24 Appreciation Thread

I think that this can probably be accepted in this forums although it is a TV Show. I went looking to see if one had been made for this and I couldn't find one so here goes.

I'd like to know what you think about the show? Favourite character, villain, season, quote etc.

My favourite full series at the moment is Season 2, although season 4 is looking pretty promising. Aside from Jack, my favourite character would be George Mason from Season 2 and my one of the quotes which made me laugh my arse off was S02E01: "I'm Gonna Need a Hacksaw." :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I love it, I got into it half way through season 2, so I lent season 1 off my friend and the taped episodes of season 2 he had and caught up with the story in about 2-3 days, pretty impressive imo :D then kinda lost interest with season 3 but I think season 4 is excellent, I've been downloading it as it's my only source to it as I don't have sky. I'm very impressed by it, I don't think there's been a dull moment yet and I've watched 15 episodes. I can't wait to see the 16th ep and what happens with that fake pilot who's taken off in the stealth fighter, I can speculate but I think I'd rather be suprised by what happens :thumb:

I started watching on and off last season, bnd have been watching the season every week, + watching the past ones on DVD.

Great show, its the only one I get really mad about having to miss for some reason (But thanks to the 'Net, I can DL them when I do)

Yeah, its my favorite show on tv currently. I've been tuning in since Season 1. I think this is Keifer Sutherlands best role.

Air Force One did not take a direct hit. One of the escort fighter jets took a direct air-to-air missle hit and the explosion damaged Air Force One. I think Air Force One is going to go down though. The previews for next week showed some people finding the wreckage and in it was a suit case like the one that is usually handcuffed to the guy following the president with the nuke codes. And yes...Kim needs to come back. :naughty:

I haven't read any of this thread because I'm just taping this season and I'm gonna watch it all at the end, but season 1 was the best out of 1, 2 and 3. I've heard this one is good too.

Season 2 has to be the best complete season so far!! Xander Berkeley is excellent as George Mason. However, I think Season 4 is going to be the best when it's finished. I read a couple of spoilers for upcoming episodes and there are very exciting moments to come.

I never saw the preview to episode 17 but from what you say I can imagine that the terrorists intention was never to actually kill the president but to force air force 1 down by damaging it then have forces on the ground to intercept the suitcase with the nuke codes in, just like they derailed the train to get the override only this time on a much larger scale, yet again enabling them to use Americas own technology against them.
I just think they've gotta fill seven more episodes somehow and I doubt the whole of America mourning the president whilst Bauer and co. go off to find Marwahn(sp.) and his minions will fill that kinda space.
It's a pretty far fetched assumption but if it's true it'll make damn good viewing :D

I only watched the first two. Series 3 wasn't on terrestrial.

The only things I didn't like were the amnesia, the daughter's ability to find hereslef in life-threatening situations and Dennis Hopper's accent.

I just started watching this season and it has quickly become my favorite show. It is the only show that I try to plan my life around so I don't miss a episode. I'm just sad I didn't get into it earlier. o well, thats what the DVDs are for.
