I'm about to go out and get an ethernet/router to play online, and my dad says it takes a while to get it working but I thought you just had to plug it in, put the Network Adapter CD in and just follow the instructions which would take 10-15 minutes.

Is the process hard/time consuming?

I used to have the adapter to play SOCOM online. It was a piece of cake to set up. I don't remember exactly how long it took, but I'm pretty sure it was basically plug and play.

I only had the first, and it was pretty fun. Then I sold my PS2. Then bought another one to play SA and now God of War.

You have to have $5 to rent it. YOU MUST PLAY IT NOW! Refer to my complete review in the other thread. There are some spoilers in it though.

Mmm fruit loops.

Ive had mine for around 2 months now, but still havent set it up, because Sony decided to leave out one of the most important things from the box. The setup number, plus my serial number doesnt match what it requires so im screwed in 2 ways. Even though i could ask sony for the number
