I loved this movie. It was great. Who else saw it? Who else liked it?

It was a good movie, but the one thing that bugged is me how come everyone got to take a sweet solo except the bassist?

because everyone knows bassists are just failed guitarists, and who wants to hear a failure?

Maybe the bassist couldn't play, but she could've used more camera time :naughty: .

But I didn't like this movie anyway.

The movie was alright. I like Jack Black, and all of the classic rock references were nice, too.

I'm not a massive classic rock fan, but the kids in it are good considering many of them had to learn their instruments from scratch. It's a nice heartwarming family film, but not my favourite really.

Ok movie the first time. Anytime you watch it after the first, it just goes downhill.

I'm pretty sure they were all musicians beforehand not actors.

I really enjoyed this film. It was a bit like Leon with the bassist in that you came out wondering if you were a paedo or not.

OK sorry to be all nerdy on every1's *** but i absolutley loved this movie:-

they were al musicians first
the bassist couldnt actually play guitar, just bass but the film makers taught her bass
and...
if u mean the solos at the end then if u listen to the commentary the kids say tht their was a bass solo but they cut it out...!

Yup they were. All those kids had to be auditioned by playing their instruments before they got their parts.

It was a great movie.

I fail to see the logic in how someone who plays cello can pick up a bass and rock, but the movie really wasn't made to make sense.

I liked it a lot. It was also really funny because I watched it with some friends (some of which don't know anything about rock) so they would laugh at some of the jokes and then ask me to explain them. The best was when after the big rant about "the Man" one of my friends asked, "Who is this man guy?"
