Alright, here we go..
Let's hear your stuff. I'm only interested in original compositions. And let's stay on topic.. only piano/keyboard related pieces.
So dig around, pull out some of those old (and new) works that you've always wanted to share and paste a link to them right here in this thread. If you've only got notated stuff, scan it in and let us see the music.. maybe one of us will play it for you. Don't worry if it's a bad recording.. trust me, we've all been there.. just share and get good feedback!
Don't be shy. You're among friends here.
If you're worried about possible copyright infringement.. do a quick CC registration here. (http://creativecommons.org/license/?format=audio) And then paste away.
-If you have a recording and you're not sure how to link it on the web.. email me (http://www.blogger.com/profile/7031298) directly and ask me how... and i'll tell you what to do. Or you can use a free resource like.. Soundclick. (http://www.soundclick.com/)
I'll go first. I've created a weblog to journal my compositions at Ghost Notes (http://ghostnotes.blogspot.com/).
Please feel free to comment on any of the works.
Now, let's hear your stuff!

Sweet. I listened to it 3 times.
Totally video-game material! I would love to hear it recorded with full drums.
What else to you have?

Wow! Shreddy!!
..or should I say "Eddy “Shreddy” Bethishou, a true genius on keyboards, hitting the keys in breathtaking speed and competing with David on playing the fastest riffs"!
Now this is some good stuff! Who knew. If you've got the bandwidth.. the above link is highly recommended.
The funny part is that I clicked on it.. and then forgot all about it, cause I got distracted by real work.. here at work.. and it takes super long to load. So.. I'm busy working on a circuit in silence with my headphones still on... focusing on the design.. and all of a sudden.. What the ...? The song kicks in full blast! I almost jumped out of my chair. Good stuff though. The video itself doesn't tell any story though (it's profesional).. it's just that chick, you guys in what looks like a car garage, and those matrix effects in the backgrounds. They sure filmed a bunch of keyboard... nice.
You said, 'last band', so I take it you quit? What happend? Spill.

LOL thanks.
The bio stuff and all other text on that site is so full of it. I wrote a bio and they didnt even use it. They came up with some manowar-ish cheeseball stuff to put in my bio.
There were 4 girls the very first one is my wife, yes we were married before the video lol. The video was filmed in our old rehearsal room, a warehouse.
Yeah the new band... Well lets put it this way the singer in that video left the band then we got a new singer we did a few shows with him. It got to a point when we all (vox, bass, drums, keys, manager) decided to leave the band. You should be able to figure that one out . My new band is more Progressive lots of fun so far after a couple weeks of rehearsing.

Wow, Shreddy, you've got some pretty nice chops! You started at 18! Wow, just out of interest, is Music your "job" effectively? You seem to be a professional kind of player, but I assume you couldn't have been playing professionally in your late teens after leaving school, if you started playing at the age of 18.
And Wow, you may or may not have liked the guy, but working with a former member of ManOWar!!!! Wow!!
Oh, and freak, I like the tune, advice to make it better would be, I dunno, add something a bit more powerful? At the moment the melodies and stuff are great, the whole song just seems to be a little..."weak"...if you understand my meaning.

Yeah I started messing around on an old Conn Organ when I was about 16 didnt really start getting into things or getting a synth until 18. It took many many hours of practice to get to a point that I was able to jamm with other people. The first band that I joined that I was somewhat able to keep up with the other guys about 15 years ago and I was easily the worst guy in the band. Being mostly self taught its taken me a bit longer to pick up on things.
Music is just a hobby for me, I work for an IT department of a bank. Lame boring job that pays the bills and gets me some new gear from time to time.
Regarding working with Dave from Manowar, my fondest memories was when he called me to get me to join the band he went into this whole "I'm was in Manowar" speach, my reply was "Dude, dont take this the wrong way but I dont like Manowar" He wanted a recording of my playing, I felt that the previous CD I was one wasnt good enough so I showed up to one of their rehearsals with my board. I checked them out then plugged in played some stuff and afterwards I was in the band. The nice thing about being a keyboardist you can pull off things like that, there isnt a whole bunch of us that play metal stuff.

Cushman,
I listened to your work and I absolutly love it, it's so great to listen to and just relaxing in general.
I am a drummer myself, but I have alot of interest in piano pieces, and I will also have to take up the piano again for my studies in percussion in college ( It is a 2nd obligatory instrument ), and that suites me just fine I guess, I really love the instrument and the aura and generates.
My main interest for the piano came from a group called Symphony X, which is a progressive metal group, with a very talented piano player ( Micheal Pennello ( Spelling ? ) ). Well the whole group is amazing, but I would always find myself listening to the key melody's in the piano and how amazing it made the music sound in general.
Anyway, all this spiked my interest to come on here and see if there had been submitted compositions to open my eyes to more genres, and I have to say you really impressed me, I've downloaded most of them to my Library ( I hope you don't mind ) and they are on my playlist. ( Which is almost a nice change from all the Death and Black Metal I listen to ...and play with my band  ).
Anyway, I just really wanted to say I really liked your work and i'll be sure to keep checking your site for more!
Thank you very much.

Thanks Emmanuel.
I have great respect for percussionists. When I was in music school, the piano majors get a big head.. because all the other musicians are constantly using you for accompianment and jurys and ensembles. But some of the best musicians in the building weren't pianists... it was the percussionists.
Most people don't realize that there's no such thing as a "drummer" in music school. Percussionists have to play everything from the xylophone to the marimba. And they have to read extremely complex percussion scores. Piano is usually suggested as your secondary because most of your primary instruments are structured the same. I wish you good luck in your education.
Thanks again.

eh, it was alright
the thing that bugged me the most was how the melody just went up and down a harmonic scale. having a varied melody makes things seem a bit moer interesting
try and have a more complex base part, as well as dumbing down the right hand. In that case, less is more. Most people's brains get confused when they hear many different notes like that in succession, and it can sometimes get annoying.
One downfall to this piece is the lack of movement. I feel like it sat in one place, it didnt really go anywhere. It was loud and complex the whole way through. Try starting off loud and fast, then bring it down to a mp or p, and make a smooth melodic line. Then you can build up slowly back to the "theme". Which, by the way, I could hardly hear. Make sure you have a definite statement you are trying to say with the piece, make a passage, or a note, or something that makes the listener say "that is the main theme" make a memorable passage that the reader will be able to remember.
All in all I'd say the piece needs more work. Try spending a little more time with it, I'm sure it's salvageable.

Good job. Philip Glass would definitely be proud. Especially on the second piece.
One limitation of midi pieces are that they sound extraordinarily choppy and mechanical.. however, on these 3 pieces.. it works. Mostly because of the style that they were written in. I love the dissonances that you create... and the determination to use chords that push us around while we listen.
If you could score this stuff and record it.. it would make great soundtrack music.
