British horror film about a squad of British soldiers who, on a routine training exercise, apprehend a pack of werewolves, who proceed to terrorise them for the remainder of the film. Anyone else seen it? Anyone else love it?

I own it. Best werewolf movie ever. Beats out both The Howling and An American Werewolf in Paris. The British accents are a little heavy for an average American like me, but besides that, near perfection.

I found it hilarious for some reason, especially the scene where the guy is 'boxing' with one of the werewolves. Good film though.

It's very corny and the low budget does show at times, but I still really liked it.

I loved it. Best werewolf movie ever. Unlike those corny American ones (no offense to America).

It's an amazing film - I was hunting through a video hire place and just asked the bloke for a sorta comedy / horror film and I ended up with dog soldiers. The best bit is where the dog starts chewing on the blokes intestines :D

EDIT: didn't read the thread first

Great film, I saw it in the cinema. Best werewolf film since American Werewold in London. But, they are making a 2nd film with an American cast :upset:, as I believe the first was thought to be 'too British'.

Yeah, well from what I've heard, they tried to market it in the US, but they refused to show it because it was 'too British'. So the Sci-Fi channel bought it, and when it was showed they had thousands of phone calls asking for it to be repeated. Obviously the makers saw that the British-ness of the film was losing them money. I think it's still going to be set in Britain, but what would be the point in that? "Oh, something dangerous going on in Britain, we have the SAS, but let's get some yanks over instead"

Good film. It's a cliche, but it's a good mix of comedy and action. I especially like the Matrix reference towards the end.

I loved that film, especially when they were trying to keep the werewolves out with the hammer and the boiling water.

Best Line:

"It's just that time of the month."

That made me laugh so hard.

They'll **** that one up for sure, and it will suck, as the British are pound for pound the toughest fighting force in the world, they make the delta force and navy seals look like Pussies.

The Yank director will forget that it happened on a training exercise and the soldiers had no ammunition until they could scavenge a little fomr the dead bodies, the yank director will give them loads of guns and ammo, and fill it will explosions, taking away the fear of having to fight warewolfs with little more than your bare hands.
