I usually hang out on the bass forum, but I need a keyboard for my band. What's something that's relatively inexpensive that I could get some decent synth sounds out of, like The Trees or Tom Sawyer(Rush)? I plan to finally learn to read music and I've been working on theory, particularily chords. I'm hoping that by the end of the year I'll be able to pull off some decent Yes and Genesis stuff, but I don't really know that much about keys or how long it would take to learn. I'm a bass player and I tap and stuff so I figure that will be helpful. Advice on any of these subjects would be very much appreciated. Thanks! :thumb:
