I posted in all the forums to get constructive crits on all the members in the band. I am the drummer for the band and also I do the recording and mixing.....(im new at it if you can't tell)
Just in cas eyou are wondering I even have a thread in the drummers forum asking how bad my drummer sucks. Asking them to crit me just like every other member of the band. You know cause if I am the worst part of the band I would like to know and would try to fix it.

The singing sounds really familiar he's definetley trying to sound like somebody.

the sound to me sounds like the lead singer in Incidius..but..ya..it's a common vocie...the turn the drums up a smidge...the turn the distortion on the guitar down a little bit more than a smidge, I hate your hi-hat sound closed....maybe try your ride their...really your band isn't that terrible, also one more thing at the littel bridge part where it gets quiet then has the drummer and guitarist hitting 8th notes I guess..turnt he vox up quite a bit and it would sound cooler, also try an epic reverb like a gigantic stadium and maybe even some delay..that could be really cool
...and wack those mutha f***in drums man! heh :) keep on playing..this isn't anything to cry in corner about...

Actually the only thing I noticed that seemed wrong(besides some balance issues^^^^) was the guitarist seemed a little off from the drums at times. It's not bad though keep playing.

I thought is voice is god-awful. He can't sing low. He can barely hold a not. His singing gave me chills, but not in a good way. He's sounds like a cheap mix bewteen Axel Rose and that guy from Audioslave, just not anywhere near as good.
P.s. the guitar is sloppy.
But your drunk was fantastic :thumb:
Edit* But your 'drumming' was fantastic :thumb:
Sorry I'm drunk.

using a 12 channel Mackie mixer run direct into my PC into cool edit pro
I laid down the drum track first. then everyone else individually laid down tracks.. Not muck to work with but do-able

He's alright. If you're serious about going fully pro, you might want to find a new one or give this guy some lessons. If he's the guy who owns the PA or who brings the beer, you could do far worse. The whole band is pretty good, really.

Well, he wasn't terrible, and for my garage level, he'd do, but if you're going a label, I don't know. Also, I didn't treally catch all of the lyrics, but like they didn't seem like much to me, but whatever. Also, I would bevery appreciative if you would give my song, which is currently untitled, a crit, thanks.
