haha I love the range of the two comments. I don't have speakers or headphone near by, so this post will serve to black-dot the thread for later.

Maybe you should re evaluate your ability to loop fruit... this tastes a little rotten :(

ok. here's what you need to do with it. Get some better samples, you can also modify the ones provided with fruity loops by adding fx to them. When you write, write with the other loops in mind. some of your songs lack the flow that is needed to keep a listener... listening, without cringing. Next, the standard bass/snare off beat thing is popular because it sounds good. i'd be more impressed with loops that involve skill in theory and composition more than a drum beat... those aren't that important to be innovative with.

1. Endosk - dreadfully boring. I couldn't finish it. Get some interesting melody, please.
2. Anezai - I liked the bassline. But come on, you repeat the exact same thing throughout the whole song. If you aren't going to alternate basslines, at least add some fills. Drum beat left much to be desired. Piano was dreadful. Either modify the patch or get a different one. At about 1:40 you get this terrible bass solo, if you can call it that. No melody. Sounds like you threw the randomizer on. Really, really bad. Again the lack of melody made this song boring as hell to listen to.
3. Much better. You are obviously becoming more familiar with the program. Again, there was a definite melody problem here. Nothing draws me into the song. I listen to music because I like the melodies. I think you just need to work on your basic compositional skills. You can have all the technical skill in the world, you can know how to work FL in and out. But if you can't compose a decent melody, you've got nothing.
