I listen to cracker. I hate the intro. The notes played just don't seem to fit with the rest of the song. The feedback thing for me doesn't work either. I personally don't like the vocals but i can hear the punk thing in them which i could see other people liking. As for recording not too bad. The guitar could do with being raised a bit and the bass peaks in a few bits. Not to bad, if worked on a little could be an ok song.

Make the guitar louder... The recording is real good... It just sounds wierd with really loud vocals and drums.... A little more energy in the vocals would be good, instead of just trying to sound raspy. Could be real good with some work.

Wow, these are bad.
Your singer is doing nothing more than rappers do-- think about it, no melodies (faintly), the lyrics suck (GAAAHAHH IM OUT OF CONTROL GAAAAH!), and it's notated on an indefinite pitch clef. It's rap, but from a newly pubescent kid that PURPOSEFULLY is talking like he's mentally retarded.
Think about it;
You walk up to your singer, and you don't even know him. Imagine if he just starts speaking nonsensical words and saying "GAHAHAHA THE WOOOORLD GHETTO LOSE CONTROL HGAhagahSmahbah!" You;d think that he has down syndrome, wouldn't you?
It's not even appropriate for punk music.... singers in punk don't make an ATTEMPT to sound like sh*t...
That sucks, a lot. The music sucks, what you were going for sucks, I'm sorry, but you indeed suck.

LOL, wow you really hate us. As for the down sydrome part, that was very immature. If you want to critize us, please do it in a manner that who be suitable for your age bracket. Making fun of people with mental handicaps is a real low blow.
It does'nt really bother me that you hate our lyrics either, since their not meant to be analyzed like Bob Dylan. They're just simple pop lines that are just meant to be fun, and it is my fault for not writing the epic poem I assumed you desired or spent enough time on them, so dont blame the throat. We jus found him on the street. Whichever. Judging from the number of times you use profanitys or lack of a constructive critque, I can debate that you're pretty much mentally unstable. Hate our music. fine. My ego is not scathed one bit by some yahoo who's screen name is "rhcpcure2826". Wow, and you thought WE were unoriginal. In conclusion, these were really early songs of ours that we wanted to get out of the way to make room for new material.
In addition I would like to thank the people that actually gave me some good critisim. :thumb:

I agree with rhcpcure2826, you band has a lot of "Problems".
You have a very raw sound (which Punk usually is) but isn't Punk just a bunch of noise?
Try listening to more classic rock, Kiss, Zeppelin, even old Judas Priest (back when they were good).
Punk rock takes little talent to master, little effort to produce. Set your goals a little higher, eh?

No^, you would like to thank people who semi-liked your songs.
The musicianship is obviously of low quality, both technically and instrumentally; the vocal melody is impossible to analyze, the drums were mediocre at best, and
rhcp... I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers...
cure... I like The Cure...
2826... I wanted four digits, and 28 and 26 average out to be 27 (I was born February 7th...)
I must have sold out in making this username... a whole 6 or 7 posts; it's not as though I planned on being a regular member, why would one put much thought into it?
Wait, wait, wait.... So in saying that your singer sounds mentally retarded, I'm making FUN of thsoe who are indeed diagnosed with a mental disease?
In a nutshell, you're saying that one w/ down syndrome would be insulted to have his/her voice and oral quality of movement compared to your singer.

No, i dont really think punk is bunch of noise. Many punk bands like Husker Du, minute men, and bad brains incorporate folk, blues, jazz and dub to their song structure. I suggest you should pick up some of thier material before you judge a musical gerne you probably have'nt heard much of. I've moved on from Judas Priest that I worshipped in my metalhead days. They sound too clique and overproduced compared to other metal bands like Sabbath, Morbid Angel or the Cro Mags. ITs alright, Ialready listen to Kiss and Zep anyway. Punk isnt really noise anyway, it was pretty much a method in which kids from the seventies wanted to free themselves from coprate rock acts like pink floyd or the eagles to progress back to the times of actual good rockn roll groups like the Kinks, Buddy Holly, and the Kingsmen. I'd like you to tell Joe Strummer that punk rock takes little talent to produce or master. He made some of the best music of the 20th century with the Clash. I can tell you something, it sure beats Judas Priest.

How can you sound mentally retarded, that makes no sense at all

Aha, that's very good-- in my first statement that you quoted, so much for an actual response-- your "unoriginality" ploy just failed, so you resort to the equivalence of a "your mom" joke.
I registered to contest someone in a theory thread; it's not as though each member makes a long term commitment with registration.
You are truly a little moron:
A mentally retarded person would have limited articulation, a general lacking in quality of flow of voice, misdirection in tone, etc... all qualities prevalent in your singer...
Forget Charlie Christian, Count Basie, Charlie Byrd, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Frank Zappa, Joe Pass, Andres Segovia, let's call JOE STRUMMER the source of some of the greatest recordings of the 20th century.
Your sarcastic and irrelevant little quips prove nothing outside of your totally and completely unwarranted arrogance about what you think you know what you're talking about. Because really, you don't; you destroyed any credibility that you may have salvaged for yourself (of which none really exists)...
Too "clique"? I suppose that proper usage of words and acting semi-reasonably about a topic such as 20th century music are cliched as well.
Your "Husker Du" may have a turnaround or so that you in your sad naivete about music believe to be an excuse for blues or jazz.
Funny; in defending punk, you said that it occasionally represents OTHER genres, which you implied as being better than punk, which equates to you not defending punk at all, but saying that there are some forms of punk rock that are not COMPLETELY punk rock, which are suggestively better than punk.
Thank you for that-- this should be worth quite a few cookies.

Joe Strummer?
What about Edward Van Halen?
Is he just a corperate sellout?
No, he was a genius!
Still is!
Strummer broke no new ground, had no new ideas.
He wrote a few good songs.
Nothing extraordinary.

No, of course Eddy (say his fu,cking name right bumbass) Van Halen wouldn't be considered a corporate sellout. aside from the fact that he recorded on a lable of a major corporation. could u possibly make it more easy for me to make u look like a complete moron?

u would be one to talk. ur on a guitar tabs forum. if u really want to bash people for making music, wat u refer to as "mediocre", then don't do it on a TABS WEBSITE. if u play an instrument then im saying now that if u need tabs to play u are probably an ameteur, if u dont even play an instrument then u have no ground to stand on for insulting others musical skill.
oh, and a name consisting of 2 of ur favorite bands is HIGHLY original. accepting that probably millions of other people in this world also like the cure and the red hot chili peppers. Congratulations u have proven to me that ur just like every other HOT TOPIC fag in this country. and how long did u spend looking up all those big boy words in the dictionary, to make yourself seem like you even have a thread of intelligence.

Hmmm, let's see:
You COMPLETELY ignore what I've said, consider words three syllables in length to be "big boy" words (might those be words that you don't understand?) say that I spend time bashing music online when YOU made a NEW USERNAME to do just that.
Unlike you, I put small concern on how ORIGINAL MY USERNAME IS. You (who is probably the thread starter) resort to a "hot topic" insult, whereas I've never even BEEN to Hot Topic, in another desperate ploy to stray from the main point-- the utter lacking in quality of the music and your lacking in an actual life, as an aside.
I may have written any of the bands or artists that I listed as a username (oh wait, you're too much of a lazy little kid to read my post), these two happened to pop into my head. Wow, I must be such a hot topic "fag."
If you have trouble interpreting those words, feel free to ask their definition, or console a dictionary, you sarcastic little 11 year old.
